I think it would be a great idea if there was a GIGANTIC "NO SELLING!" flashing banner at the page where you fill your registration info. Or maybe an extra specific captcha code confirmation you have to fill out that says "NO BUYING, SELLING, OR TRADING. PERIOD!" Also: :D :D http...

Need SD knife suggestions for a girl

I'm current looking for a quite small folding SD knife for a friend of mine who was recently beaten up by her ex-bf. I can't get her to press charges and I can't deal with him myself for other reasons. But I think I can convince her to carry a knife. I don't ever want this to happen again so I'm loo...

Green!

I would love it if the lime green in the poll is the same color of the usn endura. I loved that handle color combined with the black blade. Yeah, this is exactly what I thought too. Plus, there are already a "bunch" :D of orange spydies.... Ahem: http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/5406/or...

This might not hold true for every Salt, as I've only owned an older Pacific and Atlantic. Anyway, the jimping on the thumb ramp of the older Salt models was really course. Instead of ~9-10 small, sharp, grippy grooves, there were ~5 or 6 larger not-so-grippy grooves. I'd show a comparison pic, but ...

M4 and S90V Mules are very sought after and fetch some crazy prices nowadays. Out of the 2 Mules still available at this time, I would recommend the MT09 Cobalt Special especially if you are worried about rust resistance, Super Blue is almost like a carbon steel. For info on Cobalt Special, check o...

Those look great! It would have been really awesome if you could've taken a HD overhead picture of the knife table so that the names of each and every knife were visible. I kept scrolling down thinking I was going to see a pic like that and when I reached the bottom all i could think was Noooooooooo...

So was the model you talk about the orange G-10 or a different one? To answer your question they really don't advertise models made exclusively for knife retailers or knife forums. To learn/find out about these knives you basically need to visit all the major and in some cases non major knife shops...

Oh man, I'm definitely in blasphemy territory here.

I never could like the Military. I've had the SE S30V and the S90V versions. I just don't like the blade shape, it never suited my tastes. The S30V was given away and the S90V was ebayed. I don't miss them, it just wasn't a good fit.

Update

Well. I just checked the bento site and it looks like they changed the description from "Scheduled for March" to "Scheduled for March/April". I was really hoping for early March, but I'm still just glad it's coming out in the near future as opposed to fall or something. Surely ev...

This has been brought up before, here: http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39481 . Take a look, and once again I'll just say no thanks. Besides, as mentioned they're working on the Tuff, so there's no reason for a collaboration. Just buy a strider and grind the hole open to look as round as ...

Keeping costs down.

Sal I think the first thing we'll have to figure out is do we want to do an FB that works really well for a smaller range of intended application (reverse edge) or an FB that works okay for a wider range of application but really excels in none. What I can say at this point is that an overall footp...

Jackknifeh, I'm friends with a Walton county sheriffs deputy and he told me a few basic things. First, you can carry a reasonably size fixed blade unconcealed on your person and most people won't give you any trouble unless it's double edged or it's friggin huge 8"+. One of my friends walks aro...
