Re: Is it time for the Delica 5?
It would be cool if the Delica had that finger choil from the Meadowlark, but that’s probably the only thing I would change.

I’m intrigued.
How about put up some drawings, sketches, photoshop renderings, etc.
It would give us all a visual and be much easier to make sense of.

Re: Random: General Spydie Chat
Someone on here has a sketch of a double edged dagger style fixed blade with PE on one side and SE on the other, I don't remember who? That concept has really been on my mind a lot lately and I really would love to see it happen, and happen in a couple size variants too, something smaller maybe aro...

Re: SE performance is more than simply teeth vs no teeth.
Update: I went ahead and ordered the Salt 2 serrated lc200n in standard blade shape. I figured since it’ll primarily be used in slippery environments like kayaking, boating and around water, it makes sense to get the version with the less-pointy/stabby tip. Just seems a bit safer. I can see myself g...

Re: SE performance is more than simply teeth vs no teeth.
My next knife will be a Salt 2 serrated, I just can’t decide if I want the normal blade shape or the Wharncliffe. Big fan of wharncliffes in general but not sure if it’s the ideal shape for a serrated edge. Thoughts? Which would you get? D8138A93-C506-410F-B058-5B5EC2641EA0.jpeg D186697A-DBB6-4257-...

Re: Anymore smock-style locks coming?
I hope there’s more coming too, I really like that push button lock.
(Only thing I didn’t like about the smock was that giant sharpening choil, but I doubt we’d see that again on a different model).

Re: The Delica Wharncliffe is the greatest work knife ever made.
I couldn’t agree more! There’s just something special about the wharncliffe Delica and the way it feels, cuts, and the way it opens due to the extra mass in the blade. I really like sharpening them as well. I wish Spyderco would make a Cruwear wharncliffe Delica. Hopefully a Magnacut version (in pro...

Re: I don't think the Stretch 2 is boring.
I think he meant “boring” in the same way a Glock is boring. They’re kind of hard to review in that there’s no fancy bells or whistles or gadgetry- it’s just a simple, reliable tool that works incredibly well. Personally I think of Seiki frn knives as the Glock of the knife world. I’ve owned a bunch...

Anyone familiar with this Military model?
Can anyone help me ID this Spyderco Military model?
A family member owns it and sent me the pic, looking for info. I’m guessing it’s an older model?

Re: Playing favorites
Gun to my head… Cruwear Delica.
A Cruwear Wharncliffe Delica, or Cruwear Straight Spine Stretch are about the only 2 knives that would change that.
(Perhaps said models in Magnacut too, if it truly does behave like a stainless version of Cruwear).

Mine would probably be a Wharncliffe Cruwear Delica.
Or a Cruwear Straight Spine Stretch.
