Can't find any info on it whatsoever, i just know it's called South Texas Gear Also heard that he no longer makes custom orders for some reason, sad day for me be...

What I noticed recently is companies like 5.11s and Blackhawk! trying to be the jack of all trades/walmart on tactical gear. This is pretty much why I look for brands that specialize in a single thing and have good history of good products within that field. One of my co-workers praised the 5.11's g...

OK let me give you one situation for example why carrying one knife (for arguments sake) on your strong side right pocket clipped to your pants, could be a determent in a SD situation. Let's say for example you suddenly are attacked and your opponent has you pinned to a wall sideways trapping your ...

Doc, it's true weight training is great but if you say you carry all that every day, you're still gonna be heavy when you will need that extra lightweight mobility (knife fights are determined with mobility as a major part from what I know) ...Unless you have a method for dropping all of your equipm...

From what I remember Doc said he's a martial arts instructor so he has all of those for demonstration, and I think I recall him saying having the right tool for the job, but for everyday carry? Doc, do you take a segway everywhere you go or something? All that stuff must really weigh you down :D

Doc, after 5 years of carrying knives I still can't understand why you carry so many :D I mean if you ever did have to use them and not your revolver (which you also have 2 of, do you plan on missing more than 5 times?), when would you ever need more than 2 knives? Are you expecting the blades to sn...

Yes it is, found it online. That is a fine looking knife. Thank you sir, I just recently acquired it yesterday as it was love at first sight at the most wonderful cutlery store I have ever had the honor of entering. Funny it took me all of 1.5 months to look for a knife shop, and it turned out to b...

Dalton makes a good knife. I have one of his balis and have handled countless autos made by him. Honestly the halo is one of the ultimate otfs. I like the makora as well. The troodon is supposed to be one of the tougher knives. Also check out the microtech nemesis. Very nasty knife. It even has a l...

Well, I'm still on the fence about those auto's. Not only am I walking a thin line on the law with them (texas law includes "guards" as an exception along with LEO's and military), they are quite pricy. I'm thinking of picking up a benchmade 940 because I simply ADORE the axis lock and how...
