Al sharpton was on the radio a few days about bannin knives. The ban talk is in the air though no one to my knowledge listens to al. This is a right that I am not willing to lose.

Ok but wouldn't i want to stay as close to the original bevel as possible as to be sharpening the whole bevel surface and not just the tip? I don't know a lot about sharpening so correct me if im wrong. Thats why im asking these questions. Again the factory edges can be inconsistent. Color the edge...

As all have said this thing is built like a tank. One of my favorite things about it is the blade profile. Stone finish is absolutely beautiful. I only have the two coursest glass stones but I plan on buying the entire set. Like Jack mentioned they cut very well without leaving excessive deep scratches. They do wear faster than I expected though mine are already dished a small bit and need some lapping. What did you choose the glass shapton...
