Re: Purpose of a Business?

I am a small business owner. The purpose of my business, as I see it, is to meet my Gov't requirements. They require an entity to tax & licence, while insurance requires an entity to blame. The legal entity of my business can claim cost of doing business such as motor vehicle, tool depreciation ...

Re: Knife & Tool Maintenance?

Knife & tool maintenance can sometimes be a contentious subject, or so I found out last night, On Saturday night Harry, Liam & I went spotlight shooting for foxes & Liam left his knife in my pickup truck. Yesterday when I found the knife it was in a **** of a state & knowing that tho...

Re: Suggestion: Laguiole Knife

I believe that VG10 would be just fine for such a knife, being that it is not hard use or tactical & therefore not in need of a super steel. To me micarta has a class & classic feel about it so would be a perfect handle material for a sprint. It is already proven to not need a blade opening ...

Re: How would you respond to this?

Knutty, you seem to have some way out idea of who God is. I would say "stop looking at the wako's & look to Jesus " if you ever feel to understand God. I can tell you that I have had guns to my head & poked into my guts & been on tippy toes with a knife pressing up on my throat...

Re: Suggestion: Laguiole Knife

I've sold a few at the Eugene knife show to club members over the years. Not too many left. We made them plain and serrated. sal If there are ANY left, I'd love to have one, plain or serrated, with or without sheath. I am completely with you there on that Yab. I would love to have the opportunity t...

Re: How would you respond to this?

Psychiatric intervention cannot deal with this. It does not work because they do not know what they are dealing with & therefore misdiagnose & mistreat. Drugs do not change facts, in fact they just alter realities. If you do not believe me, then just delve deeper into all the cases that are ...

How would you all respond to this? I mean, here, let me explain: He told me these "aliens" told him they will make their presence known to mankind "any day now" and their grand goal is to make this world a "peaceful place" and induct the human race into the "galac...

Re: Supernatural, Ghosts, Demons Thread

In plainest possible terms, my question is: if evil isn't "bad" then what's the point of worrying about or avoiding it, It is bad but evil is not a power, only a lack of power. What I am saying is that when you say evil you seem to think of it being the end point of very, very bad. Above ...

Re: Supernatural, Ghosts, Demons Thread

Please understand that evil is simply defined as the lack of the presence of God. O. That is a biblical stance on it. 2 Chronicles 12:14. Ezekiel 18:25. Galatians 5:16-26. Evil being the lack of the presence of God can be a situation where anything can happen . From nothing much to the worst possib...

Re: Supernatural, Ghosts, Demons Thread

All of this was worked out long before we came along. Read the manual.
Just like the rules of golf are all in a book & when we work on our cars it is so much easier to read the workshop manual instead of doing trial & error at the risk of damaging the motor.

[quote="tvenuto" So, your definition of good and evil requires you label the Deacon as evil due to not believing as you do. I'll leave you to ponder that, and how that might lead to issues.[/quote] Pondered it. The connotation you put on my scriptural definition of evil leads to any issues...
