M390 Delica thoughts and input
How is everyone liking this model so far? This was my first Delica and I love it. Fit and finish was great and also had a really nice bevel right from the factory. Edge retention even from factory edge has been amazing, have yet to reprofile the knife only a few touch ups with the sharpmaker.

Definitely looking forward to this. Have been following Shawn for a good while now and really like his work. Would love to own any one of his blades, doesn't even matter steel/materials because everything he makes is amazing. Anyway this will be exciting to see when the time comes.

Re: Getting a Native 5 - which steel?
I have 3 Native 5s. S30v,M4,LC200N. Had a S35VN version also but gave that to my dad. Out of the 3 the G10 M4 one I have is definitely the smoothest action as well as best fnf. The yellow handles on the LC200N version at first seemed like it wouldn't be my thing but as time has went on it has grown ...

Re: Who else is packing some LC200n? Whaddya think?
Native 5 Salt. Knife was stiff when I first received it but has smoothed out very nice in the past few months. The steel has been great, touches up real easy and edge retention is good. I will definitely continue to purchase different models in this steel. I put a MXG Gear deep carry clip on it and ...

Re: Warehouse knife
Honestly man it doesnt even really matter what you pick, I'm sure it will work out just fine. I bought an Endura about 2 years ago and loved it right away, it was my first actual good quality folder. I always had cheaper quality knives growing up but after that Endura I couldn't stop. Now I have 12 ...

Re: Mule Team
Yea I'm pretty sad it has ended. I didn't start buying Spydercos or any other good quality knives until about two years ago so I missed out on a lot of the different mules. On the upside tho I am very happy that I was able to pick up three of them, RWL-34, LC200N, and CPM-20CV. They are very good sl...

Re: What is the most general use Spyderco blade steel in your opinion?
LC200N for me. There are many other steels I love but this one has been great for me. Holds a good edge, easy to sharpen, gets extremely sharp. Here in West Virginia where I live it seems like it has just been wet outside for so so long but that hasn't been a problem for my Native 5 Salt. I own prob...

Native 5 Salt. The LC200N steel is great, holds an edge a good long time and is easy to sharpen as well. The color of the scales makes it non threatening in appearance plus easy to find if you sit it down by accident.

Re: What's The Best Deal You Have Made on a Spydie?
Sage 1 paid $20 for it from a guy at my old job. Said he just never liked it. Had a little surface rust on the liners which cleaned up easily but other than that knife was perfect.

Native 5 Salt is amazing. Have had it in my pocket ever since my girlfriend gave it to me on Christmas. The LC200N steel has been awesome, gets very sharp, holds its edge a good long time and is easy to sharpen. I dont think you can go wrong with this knife.

Re: Help picking my 1st spyderco
Native 5 Salt is awesome at just over $100. I have been carrying one since Christmas and loving it. Dont get me wrong i still love all my knives that are not stainless steel but this LC200N has been great. No worries when you dont clean it super good, great edge retention, easy to sharpen and gets r...

Ok thanks, yea that makes sense. I dont think the knife needs oil or anything beings there are no washers anyway.

DLC hardware having reaction to nano oil??
Has anyone ever experienced bleeding coming from DLC coated hardware when using Nano Oil or any other lubricants? I was just wondering because I have taken apart my Native 5 Salt twice now, cleaned everything then used a small amount of Nano Oil on the pivot and where the lock bar spring contacts th...

Re: What's the lowest edge retention steel you'd carry?
Spyderco's 8cr13mov. Works fine, but i prefer to carry CPM-M4, LC200N, CPM-S30V, etc. Honestly tho the 8cr13mov in my Byrd Robin 2 does fine. I'm sure I would have no problem getting through a normal day with only it.
