Re: First time sending a Knife under warranty, is it normal to be worried?

i sent some knives under warranty, a PM2 and a DF2. The PM2 had a chipped tip and a stripped pivot, and the DF2 had a stripped clip screw and needed reassembly. I shipped them off on the 9th, and 3 days ago I found out they're arriving Tuesday. I'm SO NERVOUS. Is this normal? Yeah, probably not muc...

I imagine their W&R dept can probably remove stripped screws in their sleep. ;)
Is it possible to learn this skill?

So if they didn't contact me? I would assume it means they fixed whatever could be fixed. Edit: How disassembled was the df? I did think they usually charged for reassembly, though. Not sure what you'll get there. I read it was 20 bucks for reassembly, all the parts were there, i paid for reassembl...

Re: Knives for fidgeters?

I dunno, this is a sad thread in my opinion...which I know doesn't mean much. But come on, do people really have that much free time in their lives to sit around flicking a knife around, or buying a knife mainly for that purpose?? Seems like a waste of $100+ I find myself using my knife most of the...

The OP asked for a "there" knife, not a "here" knife.
LMAO I meant ''their'', I need grammar help.

Re: When someone says ''Spyderco'' which of there knives comes to mind first?

It’s the delica for me as well if I had to pick one, but as others mentioned any time I see a hole in a blade I think spyderco. Also hawkbills and reverse s shaped blades particularly if fully serrated are quite iconic to me, the civilian is a hard one to forget. Ah, Dr. Hannibal Lecter's blade of ...

Dragonfly 2, because I always carry one in addition to whatever other knife or knives are present. It is most often the one I reach for if appropriate to the task at hand.
I carry a Pm2 on the right, and a Dragonfly wharnny on the left.

Re: Knives for fidgeters?

Do you want bigger or smaller than the PM2? Yojimbo is my personal favorite, but the Lil Native compression lock is also excellent. Most of Spyderco's knives feature excellent ergonomic design and can be opened multiple ways. The Compression lock is the one that lets you flick and swing open best I...

Re: Knives for fidgeters?

It might be surprising but I've often found myself fidgeting with the Squarehead. It can almost function as a "worry coin" for me, in the sense that it's small and easy to handle. Even the slow roll open is enough to keep my hands busy. Really? I'll have to look into it, a good small fidg...

Re: Knives for fidgeters?

Bradley beat me too it and said exactly what I was thinking Just looked it up, the smock looks dope! On a side note, my PM2 hd a pivot screw strip, anyone know if spyderco's warranty covers this? Between this and my dragonfly, I've had the worse luck with screws, gonna pick up some Wi-Ha bits and s...
