Re: Looking Back At: The C-46 Bob Lum Tanto folder
To me, this is one of the models most begging for a CQI update and re-release. I hope it still can be thin and lightweight though. I have an original starmate, that I love, and was initially excited when it was re-released. After holding the new one, I found that it lost the slim, comfortable feel o...

Re: Hawkbill Manbug poll
I voted for serrated H1 but I would buy one in any steel if Spyderco makes a hawkbill manbug.

Re: Wharncliffe Endura: Likely or not? Do you want?
I'd be in for one. If there is a waved version, I'd be in for 7.

Re: Waved Wharncliffe Delica
I figure that there's a better chance of this than a waved Yojimbo.

Waved Wharncliffe Delica
I think a waved version of the new wharncliffe delica would be pretty amazing. I also think a waved wharcliffe endura would be even better, but one step at a time. :)
Any interest in a waved wharny delica?

Re: Tuff Time
I always thought it would be good to have just in case I needed to dismantle a tank. :)
Actually, it always reminded me of a true folding kukri.

Re: Tuff Time
I like where this is going!
PSF27 would be cool. I don't know much about MAXAMET, but maybe that could be another contender. I'd still be good with a DLC coating even if the purpose was to keep it from being reflective.

Tuff Time
I missed out on the Tuff when it was released but got to handle a buddy's Tuff and was blown away by it. The ergos are spot on, the angle of the blade seems like it would be exceptionally useful (my friend vouched for that as well), and is clearly capable of some heavy use. I also love the awesome f...

I'm still extremely pumped for this! This and the new Chinook are the Spydies that I'm most looking forward to.

If I can throw in something to the wish list...
I know it's a long shot, but I would love to see a waved version too.

Re: Police 4 Discussion/Speculation
I love the potential "salt" idea of the police 4. Maybe there's room for both, a higher end "regular" steel and a salt in h1 or lc200n?

Re: Police 4 Discussion/Speculation
Sal, Thanks for the welcome and for the info. The ability to sharpen that false edge was one of the things I loved. I'm looking forward to seeing the FRN options for sure though. I'm even going to hold out some hope that you can offer a version with a wave/Emerson opener. I don't know if that blade ...

Re: Police 4 Discussion/Speculation
I'm very excited for this. I hope the g-10 model has the same swedge/tip as on the stainless model. I really did not like the swedge on the police 3.

Re: Exotic Japanese steels
I am kind of surprised that superblue gets as much or more love than hap40. To me, they are very similar in how they sharpen and the type of edge they will take but hap40 shows a distinct advantage in edge retention/wear resistance in my usage. I've noticed this as well and would pick HAP40 every t...

Re: Bayoushooter Endura
Yes please!!!! I would be in for a couple.
A dlc coated waved endura woukd be amazing. If we're talking about a sprint, maybe we can even get an upgraded steel? Hey, if ya don't ask you definitely don't get.

Re: New Release! - Police 3 with ZDP-189 and Titanium Scales
Please keep the g-10 scales! The grip from it on such a slim knife just works better than any type of metal. I woukd love solid SB but because of the clad versions ability to bend, I'd rather ZDP. Also please add the swedge from the original. Not sure if it is an option, but it would be amazing and ...

Waved Endura Sprint?
Hey all. So this is my first post on here but I have been lurking for a LOOOONG time. To start, I'm a huge Spydie fan (like everyone else here). I've had a bunch of models of Spyderco, as well as most other brands. I have a bunch of high end knives, but the one I always seem to come back to is my wa...
