Why is resue 3 ffg vg10 black frn on here?

Could be that the previous version of the rescue 3 came with a hollow grind. This one seems to be a Full flat grind.

I would probably be less picky, but I had a cheap Gerber liner lock “fail” onto my pinky about 5 years ago, and I’ve been wary ever since. Lock strength is somewhat important to me!

Personally, I heard that Cutlery Shoppe has a Manix 2 lightweight orange FRN/DLC coated S90V coming soon. This was maybe 6 months ago, so I thought “soon” meant we’d have at least heard of it officially by now.

I’ve never lost an expensive knife. I did lose one Gerber to the cruise liner security screening ten years ago. I found a CRKT Ignite on a hiking trail to make up for it a few years later! It was gritty with sand, but eventually smoothed out with use.

What exactly concerns you with it? It seems to me to be authentic. I’d be surprised if someone faked a fluted Ti Native. Especially if they used titanium for the scales.

The problem with them selling for $165, is that some people miss out. Some people then complain about missing out, and put their frustration all on Spyderco...as if it’s their fault as a company.
