Re: Polestar, Urban, Lil' Lum have dropped (Pics)
The Polestar is certainly on my list. It's another great design by Sal and crew.

Re: Me...The Ouroboros...And Others...
Funny you should post this. For many years I have been thinking on and off that,if I'm honest with myself, all I really need is a Delica. It just works for me in just about every roll I have for knife.
So, I don't find your Delica benchmark out of the ordinary at all. Good post.

Re: Baby Jess Horn: Perfect Pocket Knife?
I miss the swedge grind and some more exciting scales, other than that, and as a knife by itself it's great! https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1118766/Da-Hornes2.jpg Wow, lovely collection. And I agree on all points, swedge and scales. My one and only is black micarta in SE. Someday I may stumble...

Re: I'm reticent to buy a knife made in Taiwan.
Is it just me or do you also pass on a purchase of a Spyderco knife made in Taiwan? Am I wrong to think that the quality of the knife is inferior to one made in the USA or Japan. Please explain to me why I may be wrong. Remember: Spyderco is a US company and Taiwan is an ally to the US so it's good...

Re: Biggest Spyderco regret of 2016
Sadly mine is more negative. I regret an impulse purchase of a Positron. The action is bad and the knife fits poorly in my hands. A very unSpyderco experience for me.
Happily, it was more than balanced by the wonderful Cru-wear Para 2.

Re: Sal, hope to hear from you
...Maybe Sal and Eric could come up with a front flipper? ... Front flipper anyone? Yes, please! However Spyderco shouldn't bother with flippers of any kind if the action is worse than the ZT knives, IMO of course. I stopped buying Spyderco flippers after the Dice and Domino with their slow ...

I forget, is the Endura 4 clad in softer stainless steel? If so, it should polish up nicely.

With low cost kitchen knives, I just use them. The grinds will even out over time with use and sharpening.

Old account locked.
My old account JR in CT has been locked. I have followed the prompts to enter the trademarked text and I sent an email to the admins. No email response yet and entering the text does not allow me to log in. Password reset works as far as getting the password reset, but new password does not unlock a...

Re: Are Spyderco prices getting out of your reach?
So while browsing the new items list at Knifecenter, I realized the vast majority of the forthcoming items are outside my price range. ... Anyone else having similar thoughts? Simple answer is yes, prices are getting out of my comfort range. I have purchased 5 Spydercos (Forum Native, Native 5 G10,...
