It might not show the dye at all. If you want a bright, vivid color with FRN you need to start with one of the discontinued "NASA" white knives.

And not really surprising. :) Glad yours got there OK. It's a very good looking knife, and the fit & finish on mine is really top drawer for a commercial production knife.

That's a stiff premium for CF, though. That's a $70 difference.

I was also going to suggest trying to find one of the HB Ladybugs. Glad you were able to fine one!

I think you captured the reasons very nicely. The next interesting question is: will the S110V production knife cut into (sorry) demand for the two CPM-M4 exclusives? M4 used to be hot-hot-hot, and still is for some, but non-stainless blades don't sell as well overall and S110V at the current price ...

They only began shipping yesterday. Unless someone lives very close and ordered early, there's no way it would have showed up today. Mine is due in this afternoon. (I did not get mine from CS.). I'll post pics if I can (if the mailman comes before my wife gets home ;)) Edited - question answered.

Some people really don't like natural/jade green G10, even if it's cheaper. Bottom line: it's really hard to say. :o

On price, consider this: if it were lower, you'd see these flipping like crazy on sites like eBay. It's a fair price, even though lower is always nicer.

I'm a little surprised that there is apparently no per-order limit, though. I would have expected a 2/customer limit.
