Most of my stuff runs AA or AAA and I use lithium so they don't leak. I only wish they made lithium D batteries for my mag lights. NiMH doesn't leak, and it's a rechargeable chemistry. I'm with Naperville. I'd rather that Spyderco make the Chicagojimbo as standard production, since that retains the full size grip. I'm not sure how you'd thicken the tip without the making the entire blade grind thicker, since it's a wharnie.
