Re: Missing manbug

Re: Anyone who would like to do a rope cutting contest between 204P and S110V?
I tested 2 Customs in M390 like 5 years ago, one was reviewed, the other was tested and sent back to the maker. That was before I standardized the SIC stones I was using at 400 grit for the coarse edge section. Both were .006" behind the edge and 62 HRC. Ah, ok... now we are on the same page I...

Re: Spyderco Sphinx
Hi Mikael Andersson! And welcome to the Spyderco Forums. :spyder: Do you have an idea about the blade shape / intended use for the Sphinx? :) Hello LC Kid and thank you. The blade shape would be similar to that of the Spyderco Sprig but with an even more acute point and it's intended use would be c...

Re: My suggestion on a new knife name
Thank you Sal and that's too bad since it's a good name. How about spelling it Sphynx ... or maybe that's too silly? Or Gryphon the legendary creature with the head, talons, and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion. Or Phenix (yes spellt like this so as to not being confused with the city by the...

Re: S110V vs. S90V
Hi everyone. Are there any advantages of S110V over S90V? Also how does M390 compare? Thanks. Btw s110v and s90v, I'd be surprised if you noticed a difference besides an extremely controlled test. m390 is supposed to split the difference between the other two and s30v. Keep in mind that high Vanadi...

My very own knife company
This is just my suggestion on a name... blade length and shape, type of steel and other things are up to Spyderco to decide, well here is my name suggestion... Sphinx. The blade shape would be similar to that of the Spyderco Sprig but with an even more acute point. Well... I think that S35VN would ...
