I don’t want to like it… but I like it.

Love it! I’ve been wanting to do this with my Delica wharncliffes as well. I think it looks much better, plus reduces weight & bulk.

We still haven’t gotten a Cruwear Endura (or endela or stretch). That’s what I want to see.

Having owned both steels, I don’t understand why someone would want 52100 over Cruwear.

I’ve used gun oils, fishing reel oils, mineral oil, bearing oil, EDCi, vaseline, various tool & machine oils, etc. They all work fine. *If forced to choose one… I guess I’d probably pick EDCi. Picked one up at blade show, I absolutely love it. It’s my favorite PM2 to date.
Nothing about it feels cheap to me. Haven’t weighed it but it feels lighter than other PM2’s, perhaps that gives some the feeling of cheapness?
