Thanks, I had a $20 reward with them so I ordered some up.

Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
I would caution people that going extremely thin, even with a steel like AEB-L that does very well with thin edges and grinds, you do need to have some knowledge about the limitations of very thin edges. For cutting cardboard or light rope, etc, my ultra thin AEB-L slip joint is amazing. But if I ge...

Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
Depending on the grind and type of Hapstone I’ve gotten down to about 8 degrees per side, but some knives might only be able to get down to 12 degrees per side.

Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
I have a small custom slip joint in AEB-L at about 63 RC. It is very thin stock, like .06” range, and was a near zero grind when I got it. I run angles well under 10 degrees with it and it is a tremendous slicer. It is so thin that when dull it still out slices most sharp pocket knives. It resharpe...

Re: K390 Worth it?
As stated touchups are great on the Sharpmaker if your bevel angle is less than the angle you are using on the Sharpmaker (so less than 15 or 20 degrees per side depending on what setting you use) since you are just sharpening a microbevel. Even the 15V at 65 RC in my Manix 2 touched up in a few lig...

Re: Native Chief M390 sprint run
If anyone still wants one of these Sooner State Knives has the satin blade for $175 and the DLC for $203. You have to go on the site to Spyderco Knives, then Other Spyderco Models, and about 90% of the way down that page the Brown G10/M390 models are there. Getting the M390 sprint for $24 less than ...

Re: I’m an indecisive giant. Millie vs Chief!
It really is fascinating to see the variation in opinions here. The following is just my opinion and certainly no more valid than anyone else's. I far prefer the Military and, in contrast to some others, I feel like the Military is a more sophisticated, cohesive design. I find the ergonomics work m...

Re: Native Chief Titanium Scales
There's a Czech maker that does for sure micarta. I need to find his name back, maybe he did do some Ti scales too. I'll either edit this if it goes fast, or post again in 1 month :') edit : found it, goes by Mydlinka TM on facebook. I know for sure he did these since the owner told me, he paid 100...

Re: Community Sharpening Journal
Very nice! Wasting no time. Took a better photo this morning. Definitely a couple flaws, the main one is that I made a couple bad strokes with the Atoma 140 by the plunge line on the Spyder logo side on both knives. But otherwise they turned out fine. That was a well done job, nice and acute. The A...

Re: Arghh...Manix 2 Side-To-Side Blade Play When Open
After reading all the posts about about the construction of the Manix 2s (similar to the PM2s), it seems that tightening down the pivot screw likely won't make any difference, particularly as this is a new knife. That's the problem with forums on the interwebs, and the challenge for those seeking t...

The idea of a Superleaf in Cruwear or Magnacut is definitely appealing. As a Superhawk and Superleaf owner it would be nice to see one of them brought back for a sprint run.

Re: CPM 15V Sprint sharpening and performance thread
I did my second full sharpening on my 15V Manix 2. I laid the angle back to 13 degrees, going down from the 15 degrees I used on my first sharpening. I used an Atoma 140 grit, followed by 400 and 600 grit Atomas. I finished with 5-6 passes per side on 1 micron lapping film at 14 degrees per side. Th...

DLT Trading also has a purple and black DLC PM2 in Cruwear. Knifecenter has a smooth G10 Manix 2 XL in Cruwear.

Re: Respectful feedback and ideas regarding 15V sprint runs
Interesting timing ^ March 3rd, while the M4 LW Manix exclusive has been in stock all day at Blade HQ for a lower-than-BD1N price. Just saying, it's a bad day to complain. No kidding. I was fortunate enough to get both a 15V Para 2 and the Mint M4 Manix LW. The M4 LW will be riding in AWT scales, a...

Re: ** 15v PM2 Alert Thread **
You can go to deadwood’s website and send them a message asking if they have any 15V Para 2s available and they will send you an invoice for $269.99 out the door. Yesterday Kkellogg said the invoices were for $259, so it has gone up $10. So if you want one for $269.99 now you should try to message t...
