Ontario Canada Stores (Golden Triangle)

Does anyone know of a good (meaning carries a lot of Spydercos) store in the Golden Triangle area (Guelph, Kitchener, Cambridge) or Milton, Burlington area?

Thanks!

If its a working knife, who cares if it gets some scratches etc, ads character IMHO.
So long as you maintain a good edge, what does it matter if the rest of the blade is a bit banged up.

Just my 2c.

An Endura (G-2 Stainless Steel) with molded clip fully spydie edge... I didn't sharpen it for 12+ years (6 of which it saw heavy use). Getting it back to cutting leather like butter proved to hard for me (even with profile stones, though its much closer than it ever has been). So I've replaced it wi...

Grinds - Pros & Cons

Is there a thread on here somewhere (that I can't find via search for some reason) that talks about the Pro's and Con's of each grind. There seems to be a lot of personal preference talk, but not why they like it. Such as a demand for a FFG Delica/Endura... why is that "better" than the Sa...

I have generally found having Serrations is more useful... as you don't have to worry as much about sharpness as much, you can saw your way through. That said; when you do need to sharpen it, its a PITA! So recently I purchased a PE Caly3 ZDP. (My "work" knife is an Endura 4 SE - which rep...

buglerbilly: why a SE blade for fishing? Unless your talking commercial where you might need to cut rope/nets frequently and quickly. Otherwise I would think the PE would be more useful. Though could be wrong, which is why I'm asking you :)

A word of warning: Before dismantling your Endura make sure that it absolutely needs it and that you are comfortable doing so. The lockbar/spring can be very tricky to reinsert and can cause a lot of frustration. Thanks for the warning! Right now I'm just moving the clip. I don't plan on opening th...

Not sure you need to do anything special... I've had an Endura (G-2 stainless) for 12+ years (6 of which in heavy EDC use during the summers), and the only cleaning it has seen is a strop on my jeans when I get it wet or something on it. Maybe soap and water if something sticky. And it looks great s...

Tool to Change Clip/Clean

What is the size and technical name of the tool/bit required to remove the screws on the newer Spyerco knives (i.e. the Endura 4)?

Thanks,

I just ordered a Spyderhawk, so perhaps my view will change when I hold the real thing... but from pictures and descriptions it not any larger than my Endura (technically a bit smaller); so not sure why its so "scary"... just the curve? I carry the Endura as my EDC (if I'm using the acrony...
