I may try scuffing the surface up some and use some high temp header paint that i've used on car exhaust headers...that stuff can stand up to 1200 degree heat, it's a ceramic paint too. I wonder how it'll hold up to scratches... Just a heads up,use fine grit sanding paper (the larger grit may leave...

I have a friend who does powdercoating...does anyone know if the heat from baking a clip might damage the heat treat of the clip? Maybe make it not so springy or brittle or more prone to breaking? I thought about that gun coating stuff that everyone is using on blades...how expensive is that stuff ...

Yup it's a beauty, good buy D! Maybe you could get some black paint and fry it on the clip or maybe duracoat ? should last longer than regular spyderco clip coats. Just a thought.

I started with a dremel/wire wheel. The wire wheel hardley did anything except leave a shiney abrasion that I though was stripping the coating right to the blade steel. Then I would wipe it down and the blade was still black! DLC = very tough. I did each stripe on both sides about 5 times each then...

Well they did the newish g10 persian, maybe they'll do dodo as well. Not my cup of tea for a knife though,but they might sprint it.

i dont usually carry for self defense, but when i do, its typically the endura wave. fastest deploying knife there is, and fairly good size. only problem is mine is a little loose on the lock-up...but ive noticed all enduras and delicas are :( :( i really wish they made a para2 wave...id carry it e...
