A tough call!! There is something special and clever about having a razor sharp plain edge, and yet the Spyderedge is quickly winning me over to the serrated side!! For the type of stuff I do, the SE makes things so much easier!

The Spydie Edge is really good for heavy duty work. I have used it to cut through antenna/network cabling, ivy and wisteria and 20mm sisal ropes, all without a single problem. I have always been a fan of plain edges, but since discovering :spyder: I'm starting to convert!

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I have to say that I really like a large blade (Endura size is pretty good), but I also like my Meerkat. I think the blade on the Meerkat is a great size relative to the knife as a whole. Here are a couple more photos of it.
