The Salt is a fantastic knife. We've had no negative comments from customers. Spyderco's sharpness and edge retention tests have proved the H1 to be excellent. And,they found the serrated blade exceeds the plain blade for edge retention. John Jensen, (619) 475-3633, www.johnfjensen.com Edited by - J...

It looks like you have a nice one. If it helps - the last ones we had were 90.00 retail and we closed them out @ 75.00. We have some of the select Black Lip Pearl and White Pearl left which my wife says we are keeping. Good luck on whatever you do - you should keep it! John Jensen, (619) 475-3633, w...

Chris, The entire knife is coated, screws, clip and knife. The only uncoated area is where the knife blade pivots. These knives could not be taken apart (other than clip & screws) to coat each piece individually. Thus, they were coated intact (blade open) so to speak. The coating results are exc...

Ted,
Thanks for the update.
So - when all else fails, look in the book.

I didn't think the prototype I have was ever close enough to even get a CX number.

Ted,

After thinking about it I may have the CX05 solution. Spyderco did a prototype smaller Co-Pilot. It was never cataloged and never produced. I have the prototype. Could this be the elusive CX05?

Maybe Sal can help on this one.

You are asking for liability problems if you sell any weapon to anyone under 18 yrs. There was a criminal case in Calif involving injury to a person with a Civilian. The case was lost and it was appealed. It was the first case in Calif history where the knife went along with the documents to the app...
