Ted,
Thanks for sharing - that's a fine camera. Are you taking at full resolution and reducing to 25% or less than full?

Among my cameras I have an Olympus 3040 and also find the auto focus to be lacking in low light or blending backgrounds.

You're doing a good job with your for sure.

Mike,

Paul is right on target. As a distributor I often get requests for the early intregal clip knives like yours. It may have more value than you think to the right person.

Good luck. :)

We did some Police models in 1996 with black TIALN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) which is a coating over a gold TIN (Titanium Nitride). We did 5 ea of the left hand serrated and 29 ea of the right ...

Moki, Taiyo, Solo and Fugata are all great makers that Spyderco imported in the past. Moki made some especially fine inlay folders. We still have some of these makers knives but our stock is getting low. http://www.johnfjensen.com/acatalog/catalog.php?maincat=%20%20Spyderco%20Discontinued%20Items Sa...

The C77SBK Spyderhawk has been discontinued.
We have four left on closeout.
A great knife, we were sorry to see it discontinued.

When they were discontinued the retail was $145.95.

The plain blade is the most popular and most sought after.

If you plan on selling it you should hold out for your price as they are hard to find, especially NIB.

Joyce,

Sounds like a fun thing to do. Janet and I want to participate.

To the second name you draw we will freely ship a C80BLP Dodo.
Our only qualification is they have to be in the 48 contiguous states.

Nicolas,

I believe your knife was introduced in early 1995. The first ones we purchased as a distributor were in Feburary 1995. They were listed as C07PATU (plain blade) and C07SATU (serrated blade). The handles were TuFram coated aluminum and they listed at $189.95.

If you purchased the 204 Sharpmaker it should have included an excellent video - well worth viewing.

If you don't have the video let us know - we can send you one for 5.00 and the shipping cost.

Try this http://www.johnfjensen.com/acatalog/cat ... o%20Knives

We don't have an actual closeout section. Our prices on discontinued Spyderco knives are "closeout" prices.

Sorry to have confused you :D

We have three C36GPSE Military combo CPM440V blades left on closeout. They do however have all the Spyderco markings.

I have never seen a Spyderco knife with no markings - interesting for sure.
