For size comparison (that's an R2 with an Stretch 1 and original Mini Manix 83mm) No Delica in this one, but I could take a pic with one tomorrow if you like.... http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t194/Murdoc370/CIMG5312.jpg Super light and a great size for EDC; I think though that if the spine was ...

Tip up is my preferred carry option and I am glad the P2 is offering this choice. While I carried some Spydies tip down (incl. P1) when they came only that way without having much trouble getting used to it, I still like tip up better. Sometimes I cange to tip down when the RFP clipped knife handle ...

The Stretch is similary to the Delica/Endura model when it comes to (RE)assembling. Here's some help: Link1 Link2 The links Donut provided are of valuable help, too. It should be (relatively) easy for you to get the Stretch back together after you've read these threads/videos. If not, send the parts...

I keep them all!

I agree 100% with Reject:
To me as a bit of a collector of Spyderco knives, discarding the box is like buying a magazine and throwing away the front cover. It’s the contents you are after; but the box is also part of the story.
'nuff said.

Before the Para2, I used to EDC the CF Stretch for quite a while exclusively, and I thought that was "the one" for the years to come. When a new folder arrived, I usually carried it for a few days, but soon went back to the Stretch. Since the Para2 came in, the Stretch sits in the showcase...

SS is for people that want "the One" knife that will last forever, and without maintenance to boot. That doesn't go too well with FFG (wonder why), more so as the SS Enduras are equipped with a HOLLOW - and not Flat - Saber Grind just like the Sebbies AFAIK, which comes close to FFG when i...

When looking at the pic, it's kind of hard not to suspect that the user ruined the thing on purpose. I mean, the tip, ok; s**t happens when you don't know what you're doing. But that "big serration" is a little bit much in my opinion just to have "happened" by accident.

In my opinion, there's no way the idiot is NOT going to have to pay for this broken knife. Period. Times don't have changed THAT much, right? That's no scratch or something there, this knife is done. Yes, you could grind it down to something wit a Dragonfly sized blade, but that doesn't count. The (...

Since my Spyderco shopping spree has cooled down a little lately (still considering the Junior though), I find myself carrying the CF Stretch over and over again. ZDP-189 makes sure the steel is sharp enough when I need it even if I didn't touch it up for a while, and well, there's a reason why the ...

You can spare yourself lots and lots of time and work for just 1x shipping costs +$5... rest assured you'll wish you would have done that before the blade is even CLOSE to being sharp and clean again if you decide to use the Sharpmaker ;) ... or get yourself a nice belt grinder :D Seriously,...

Daniel, I fully understand why you are disappointed and even angry. Some earlier answers blamed the dealer for messing around with the knife before sending it out to you. I think the way you describe the damage it sounds like this was a return from a previous buyer of that particular knife who manag...

I've carried my black bladed CE Endura4 as EDC for a while and it was just great for what I was using it for. The SE part was great to start a cut for harder materials, and the PE part was more than enough to do the "finer" tasks. Even the CE Stretch was great in that respect. In my person...

There's a trend..... Please do me a favour and tell my why you voted for the respective knife... You may end up with a surprisingly beautiful knife if you sand down the handle slabs enough to get rid of the "modding" incl. grooves and leave the G10 with a grippy enough, sanded surface. (isn't the Sage 3 made with a "smooth" G10 handle?) I'm looking forward to your results! (...

So I'm going to a wedding in 11 hours. Of course not my own... ;) Although I've got basically nothing to do with the soon-to-be-married couple, my GF will be the maid of honor, so I'm gonna drag at least SOME (unwanted:rolleyes :) attention to myself. If you're talking about the Delica 4, there was a 2-part Sprint Run (don't know right now the size of the batches, most likely 2x300) with pink scales. The first run had a black clip, and because of the success and the fast sales, a 2nd run was made, equipped with a silver clip to distinguish it fro...
