Exactly this! Black Assist, Leatherman Supertool and - well, actually two SAKs. One in my center console attached to a ResQMe, and one on my car keys.
No pics, so only referring to your description... I'd guess that the knife has probably seen its best days. If the spring is really broken, it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new one. It is not impossible, but I don't think that Spyderco will drill out the rivets and restore that knife ba...
Yes, these T-Mags are not that famous, but they are so extremely smooth in their action, and I took care of the "weak" magnet problem by replacing it with a stronger one. Now they work just fine. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t194/Murdoc370/CIMG8020.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/alb...
Let's see what I have in my pic pool... the one on the top isn't seen too often: http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t194/Murdoc370/DSC00331.jpg The green CPM D2 Millie seems to fetch high prices lately, don't know if that qualifies it as "rare"? http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t194/Murd...
Well, just because the seller wants that amount of cash doesn't mean the knife is "worth" it or somebody will actually pay that much :D
Seriously, unless some collector really desperately is looking for this particular model, I think it won't sell.
That is simply not how it is supposed to be. Period. Slightly off would be OK, but in your pic, it is just far from being OK. I just checked my large Persian 2 plus the original one, and while the G10 version is not as perfect in that regard as the original one, it is just a hair off and waaaay bett...
I do not own a Native 5, but what I can tell you is that I own 90+ Spydies right now and I have owned much more over the years, and that darn Para2 has kind of stalled my Spydie collecting habit quite a bit - just because it was THAT good. For me, it is the one knife I would keep if I would have to ...
I have quite a handful of Spydies. Not as much as some of the hard core Spyderco collectors here.... but... quite a few. Let's put it that way: If I would sell all of my Spydies, I could get a decent used car for it. Since the satin blade black handled Para2 joined the club and went into my RFP, my ...
Hi, I have seen that kind of grind line on my BG42 Carbon Millie, not quite as bad though... but compared to my FG CPM D2 Military, it becomes obvious that there is some metal missing, just like on the knife of the OP: My new Digicam Black bladed Millie is quite close to the D2; that one is really g...
That will be quite easy for you to see for yourself once you check out this site: http://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=C10_Endura There you will find pretty much all of the Endura variants ever made. If it really features a plasic clip it should be a VERY late Generation 1 model, pretty identic...
There's a macro photo here somewhere, but the bug is etched in a circular pattern while most others are composed of horizontal lines. A while back, I took a pic of this bug after cleaning the knife (with a red cloth, you can tell that :) ) and showed it somewhere here. That's the pic: http://i160.p...
If so... just leave them in one piece! You can always clean them using water, a toothbrush and some hot air out of a hair dryer. Believe me, it will save you a lot of hassle.
Actually, Knutty isn't all that wrong with what he is saying there*, but you guys are able to read between the lines enough to see what Spyderco is trying to achieve: They don't want to make right all the epic fails of unskilled people regarding their products; that's why Kristi stated it that "...
