Comp lock is one of Spydercos best addition to the industry. Pretty much high on my personal lock list. Unfortunately liner lock aint there at all, in fact.

I find the compression lock to be the most impact resistant, but with impacts it will create blade play with time, but wont fail.

My top plan for this year probably. TIP UP for me pls. I love the CF it has now. Only thing I do not understand is the absence of stop pin - to me it looks the tang stops against the liner that is the comp lock, not against the stop pin. Howz it really? Can someone explain?

I would say its a C07 Police, with wider opening hole /aftermarket/ and modified handle. Rookie had a lanyard hole afaik. This one aint.
