Thank you Sal. I thought about drilling some holes in the backspacer and put weights in.

Re: "The one"

Endura 4 HAP40, although it's gotten knocked out by the Para 2 for stretches of time. Hopefully the Police 4 kicks it out.

Re: FRN Police 4

Thanks for the perspective, Sal. I'll probably end up owning both the G-10 and FRN versions.

I wonder if they haven’t made the change because it will affect the custom scale market?
That would be an interesting disaster.

Because of failures with steel I no longer love.

Re: A not-so-tough H1 experience..

Last week my HAP-40 Endura didn't quite appreciate cutting through steel staples. Finished the rest of the day's work but it definitely didn't appreciate it much. So glad it wasn't S30v.

Nested liners would be great I just hope for a steel backspacer and variety of colors like on the endura and Delica.
I second the steel backspacer.

They're known to have fragile tips and they don't want to deal with inevitable breakage from the way an average joe may use it.

Re: REX45 + Sharpmaker: wise or foolish?

Depends on your comfort level, I'd go for the Rex-45 but I'm more equipped and comfortable sharpening and like steels like that Depends on how much you want to take care of the knife.

I've never experienced dino jumping before.
I had an old Stretch with peel ply cf and dino jimping. I'd say the jimping was not as good as modern jimping.
I'd say the same about the old "gear" style jimping.
