Re: Do I need a millie?
I am going to be the lone dissenter. I listened to the voices, and purchased the 204P forest green as my first and only Millie. I figured well, I'll have one in my collection, it can't be that bad...I never, ever carry it. I should have saved the money, or spent the money on getting another copy of...

Re: Out of the Spyderco knives you own, which one is your favorite?
As of late it has been the Pattada; just fits in my hand great, and I can't swap it out for any of the others that I own presently.

I'm really looking forward to the Sliver. Outside of that one of the Para2's in Part Serrated will probably be on my must have's this year.

The dots in the ring I believe and appear to be just part of the material nothing that's a defect. It's been a while since I've held one in person, but from what I remember looks fairly common among the Rubicons.

Re: Freehand Sharpening: I want to learn how; suggestions?
If you want to stick with Spyderco stones the Double Stuff (303MF) might not be a bad place to start; especially if you've used the Sharpmaker, as it's the same grits as those stones. So if you've become used to how many strokes each stone takes on the steels you're sharpening you'll have roughly th...

Re: Prediction for the Efficient
There's already an inline that'd be pretty close to an upgraded Efficient, in the Domino (http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/C172CFTI/839), which pretty much has everything you were looking for in the upgrades, but a slightly different feel in the hand, but has both the CF scales and the CTS-XH...

Re: Military selects Sig 320
Just learned from a friend that SIG is building a plant in Arkansas. Can't find enough machinists in NH. Besides, NH has second-highest energy costs in US. I may be mistaken, but I believe the AR plant was more focused on the ammunition production. Their facility in NH is pretty expansive and didn'...

Handsome and distinguished indeed. :) Is it just me, or does the younger Sal look similar to Dos Equis' "Most Interesting Man in the World?" Hmmm... ;) :D Love it! What would his tag line have been? "Stay Sharp, My Friends."? :D :D :D "I might not always be sharp, but when ...

Same as yours, the blue just looked nice and different than any other knife I have currently, and I really liked the look of the polished satin opposed to the other finishes. Decently low serial number as well.

Awesome! She's a real pig sticker! Mines been great thus far. The only thing was that after loosining up, she got a little too loose and became off center. Just tightened her back up and all has been fine. If it happens again I'll just add a dab of loktite Mine did the same, went a little off cente...

Re: Talk me into a Yojimbo
I carry mine at work; and if I use it it's cutting open boxes, envelopes, and the like. The wharncliff blade is nice and accomplishes these tasks with ease - even opened a few of the kiddos Christmas boxes/toys - made quick work of the zip-ties and the like (off topic - but for the love of Pete they...

Brous should congratulate you... saw this post and bought one as well; just got it today - It's a sweet "little" flipper. Was a bit larger than I anticipated, but I'm liking it.

Kinda cheating, but heres all mine, minus fixed blades and 2ND sales knives (no. boxes). IMAG0575-1600x900.jpg Always was curious, is there a reason/meaning for the yellow or white labels on the boxes? Yellow indicates a serrated blade. Thank you, it's obvious now, just never made the connection.

Pattada, Large SpyderPac, Yojimbo 2 at the moment, but something tells me it won't be long before there's more inbound to me.

I was interested in the Rhino when I saw it pictured in the 2016 Mid-year Product Guide - and apparently I was oblivious that it was designed by a fellow Hoosier... guess I know what the saved penny jar is going toward next now...

I'd like to see a PM2 or Military in a Salt configuration; could be an interesting Sprint run perhaps.
