...in their parking lot, that is. Came with 3 15 and 3 10 round mags and 2 sets of grips.

Re: Police: why no lanyard hole?
If you're going to hang it in the garage, don't let the lack of a lanyard hole deter you. The Spyderhole is a viable option. I keep a Stretch and a Tenacious hung that way in mine, evn though both of them have lanyard holes.

Re: Montbell Pirka
Seeing as how it doesn't have a SKU, any suggestions for how it should be organized/categorized? One possibility would be to have a category for Japanese Domestic Market models. Granted, most of the entries would just be JDM variants of regular models but, IIRC, the Pirka is not the only "JDM ...

Re: Would you purchase a Spyderco Kitchen Knife in LC200N?
For me, it would come down to whether or not LC200N was available in similar thicknesses to the past and current MBS-26 blades. If so, then I'd be interested, even more so if they could be done a bit "higher end" with full tang handles and nice looking scales. That would mean blades around...

I’ll try, but if you limit it to one per head it would be easier
Pretty sure it's MST given that daylight savings doesn't start for another month.

Re: Favorite Lock?
My favorite is the midlock because it's hand neutral and has a strong bias to closing. While I use folding knives with my left hand most of the time, I like a knife that allows me to open and close it with equal ease using either hand. I also have a strong preferences for a knife that wants to close...

Re: High-End Spyderco Knife Line
Tastes differ, needs differ, budgets differ. There are folks who can't afford "high-end" Spydercos but still need a rugged, dependable knife and appreciate the less expensive Spyderco models made in China. Heck there are even folks who find the Spyderco branded models made in China too exp...

Re: Montbell Pirka
I would pick up a reprised version in FFG and modern steel. Maybe that’s an Urban, though? I'm not sure what would it bring to the table that the Delica 4 and Salt 2 do not offer. I have to wonder how many folks would still want a knife with an integral FRN clip. Not to mention the Kraton insert in...

Re: FRN Civilian?
Perhaps the Stretch or new Stretch XL? The Stretch has nearly an identical handle shape to the PM2. Just a thought… I'm assuming the only reason people that want this is the extra half in of blade length the Civilian offers over the Matriarch. The Stretch handle is shorter than the Endura/Matriarch...

Re: FRN Civilian?
Unless the cost of tooling up for FRN molds has gone down considerably over the years, my guess is that the only way an FRN Civilian would be feasible would be if it could share a handle with a more popular model the way the Matriarch does with the Endura. Off the top of my head, can't think of any ...

Re: Would you buy a VG10 knife in 2022?
Absolutely. VG10 is still one of my favorite steels. I know I'm in the minority here, but I think ZDP-189 was the start of Spyderco's downward spiral toward marginally stainless and non-stainless steels, It's frustrating that I can no longer count on a Spyderco in a "new" steel having dece...

Re: I wish they would bring back.....
I'm sure this has been done before, but I sure wish they would bring back this one, The Dyad. I used and abused mine, and it never failed me. Until I dropped it overboard. Anyone else miss this knife? I'd probably just stick with my left handed one (thanks Jack!), but I'm sure there are those here ...

Re: Thinnest functional bladestock for a general use folder
The ladybug, Dfly, Chappy, Centofante, etc are perennial favorites in part because the blades are so dang thin. Thin stock slices better, so I wonder if even thinner knives have a place in Spyderco's offerings. As far as I can tell, for locking folders, the thinnest available currently is 2mm. I wo...

Re: Electronic Interference
I've heard of this happening before, but wonder if it's something specific to certain makes and models of garage door openers. Reason being that I've been using an LED bulb in my 10+ year old Liftmaster Professional 1/2HP, which has just a single front mounted bulb, and in the two overhead light fix...

Re: Elforyn laiying down the gauntlet
The material looks fantastic. I wonder what it's coefficient of expansion is. Is the material photosensitive like the old Westinghouse Ivory Micarta, i.e., does it turn yellow/orange over time. Does it absorb moisture like Micarta? How is effected by petroleum distillates, DEET, etc. Answers to the...

Re: Spyderco knives
What use does a knife, specifically Spyderco knives, with a blade shorter than three inches at the minimum length, have? While there have probably always been pocket knives with blades over 3" long, until recently they've been the exception rather than the norm. Pocket knives with blades of 3&...

Re: Elforyn laiying down the gauntlet
Was it Elforyn or some other ivory replacements? My recollection is, that there are several different materials trying to mimic the look and feel of ivory. I'm not Sal, but I can tell you that it was Evrina, which was a Japanese synthetic ivory which is no longer being made. It was used on the thir...

Re: Playing favorites
Been carrying the same burgundy Micarta Jester on my key ring and one Kiwi or another in my watch pocket virtually every day for about 18 years. As for larger folders, it's pretty much been one Stretch or another since it first came out in late '04. Most used honors would have to go to the K04 Large...
