Re: What’s your favorite or most used Spyderco?

The knife I carry doesn’t necessarily do any real work being an office worker. The two Spyders that do real work are my Tasman HB PE which cleans the fish I catch and my Sprig which fillets them. Though my little Dragonfly HB SE has near dethroned my Tasman. When I start hunting again I’m sure my So...

Re: Ned Newguy has some Edge Pro questions

Welcome to the forum Benredbeard! :) I’d hazard a guess that you’re knife was likely hand sharpened at the factory and hence the wonky grind. When the time comes to sharpen it I’d be inclined to sharpen it at 14deg per side but I wouldn’t remove anymore metal than you need to achieve a clean apex al...

Re: Hurricane Florence News

I suggest a fresh start. Water under the bridge. You've addressed and apologised to all your friends, but not to me. You laud all these friends that support you, but you haven't lifted a finger to do anything but CYA. You didn't even respond to my post above? I am disappointed. :( Crux, what makes ...

You’re very kind Michael!

I sincerely hope it’s clearly understood by all that my stupid gif was solely and specifically in reply to nineteen words brother Crux wrote.

To imply I’m laughing at loss of life and property or that I am without compassion for my fellow man is quite absurd.

Glad you think it's funny. It's a national disaster with people dying and you think it's a joke.

Re: Let's Talk About SNAKES Shall we?

Yes we do have Stoke's Sea Snakes in our tropical waters and they’re most commonly encountered by Prawn Fishermen as by catch. Please don’t quote me because I may be off the mark but I think sea snakes have short fangs as does our deadliest (land snake) the Fierce Snake so they have trouble envenoma...

I think newsprint may be more abrasive than we give it credit.

I’ve found it will actually leave scratches on mirror polished bevels on garden variety high carbon steels and the like.

Re: Let's Talk About SNAKES Shall we?

One of the most dangerous snakes in the US is the hoop snake. They are highly neuro toxic and aggressive. When agitated they will put their tails in their mouths and chase whatever it is that disturbs them by rolling like a tire. Fortunately, a grown human can usually outrun them. http://media.al.c...

Hi Joe, here’s what I found out regarding Australian snakes with neurotoxic venom. “These are common in Australian snake venoms, and may cause rhabdomyolysis and potential for renal failure, in particular after a bite from the beaked sea snake and the king brown (mulga), rough scale, red bellied bla...

I said is was impossible for a North American Copperhead to strike you while you can stare at both eyes. I love you Aussies but don't be a gronk, your reptiles beat our reptiles 10 out of 10. Cracky are you, then rack off, fair dinkum ragbat.

Soft drinks are trash. I'd take it a step further and say avoid any caffeine too.
I don’t think a coffee or two a day could be that bad VivI? :)
