I have a question, to those of you others, who have also just received this knife. Did yours come with a Silica gel desiccant pack? Mine did not, and I find this odd. For a couple of reasons. 1) The Cruwear variation came with a large Silica gel desiccant pack, and it has twice the chromium content...

The Shaman "love affair" is most certainly not over! :p I am a little surprised that these "wood" scales are so polarizing. If folks were smart, they'd snag one now if only for the Rex45. Scales are easy to swap! Rex45 will likely be more limited. I fully expect the burnt orange ...

Agreed Darby. I have some scales for my Mules made from a similar material from Halpern, and personally, I like them.

I'm a bit undecided on whether I'd have this wood one of the orange G10. If I don't manage to score one today, I'll try for the G10 later. Though it would be cool to have 3 Shamans, all with different steels and totally different handle materials. :D
