definitely not a test for a folder. anyone that buys a folder with the intention of using it as that one was in the video, should be slapped.

even after watching that video though, i still wouldnt buy a Cold Steel over a Spyderco.

i wish mine stayed tight. i think most ppl would rather have a tight clip than a loose one. it really just depends on the knife.

Are you you all just dropping the whole knife into the dye? I realize some of the handles aren't removable and that's probably what has to happen. Has anyone noticed a negative impact on the metal parts, such as rust, corrosion, or patina changes? I may have missed the answer to my question, and I ...

I ordered a Byrd Crossbill g10 last week and it just came in today. I bought it with the intention of using it as a beater, but after handling this knife I think it might find its way into my EDC rotation. The fit and finish on the knife are alot better than I expected. The entire knife just feels s...

i just got mine yesterday. i went with the SE because i also have an atlantic with the SE and it has stayed sharp since i got it. i have also heard that the PE edge retention isnt as good as the SE at first. the amount of grinding that it takes to get the SE makes the H1 alot harder than the PE.

just look at the numbers. how many people have actually had a spyderco lockback fail? the little click is normal. just keep using the knife, you will get used to it.

thanks for all the info guys. i ended up ordered a se yellow tasman last night. i figure since i already have the bigger atlantic, the smaller tasman would probably be a better choice.

Spyderhawk or Tasman

So im in the market for a new H1 folder. I recently bought a boker subclaw and it has pretty much gotten me hooked on the hawkbill. So why not combine the two and get either a spyderhaw or a tasman. The only problem is choosing between the two and whether to go plain edge or serrated. I currently ha...
