I have way too many lights, but the one that's always w/me is a white Photon II. It's on my keychain along w/a SAK Minichamp and Utilikey. In my backpack I keep an Arc LS and a new Inova 24/7. When I'm out on my bike I carry a red Photon 3,and on longer trips a headlamp.

Jim: my 440v doesn't have agressive serrations or a Boye dent. The serrations look 'rounded',right? As long as they have smooth curves w/both sides equally radiased, then they're normal. For some reason, serrations differed between models, and the older Natives just weren't real 'toothy'. The VG-10 3D ...

Pr0n is 1337 for porn: http://www.ninjalane.com/leet.aspx If you're getting pop-ups on the forums,or anywhere else that shouldn't have them, then you might have some spyware on your machine. There's a couple programs that deliver pop-ups no matter where you surf. Edited by - dynaryder on 3/8/2004 6:0...

I use Goo Gone to clean my Delica all the time,no probs. It's basically concentrated citrus. Used to use it at my part time jobs to clean my box cutters. It removes the goo that comes from cutting the tape on boxes. I never washed it off the box cutters and neevr saw any discoloring.

I prefer Altamas in uniform, especially the jungle boots for summer. I do alot of walking(1.5mi each way to work) and they wear really well. I also usually pick up a pair of cheap waterproof boots each year from sportsmansguide.com. By the end of winter they're usually trashed, but they serve their pu...

I have a linerless G-10 SE that I carry in my jacket pocket next to my wallet when on my bike. The pocket clip is pretty moot for me,but if I did carry it clipped I would wish for a lower profile. I don't know why the SS model isn't drilled for tip up/down carry like the other SS's. Or even drilled ...

I think it just had to compete too much w/the Endura, which was much cheaper, lighter, grippier, and had more edge choices(PE,CE,SE). I like micarta, but I'd consider it more of a dress knife material than a worker.

Good find. Got a pair of Mice off eBay over a year ago for $45 apiece. W/the prices I'm seeing now,I wish I'd bought more.

For the blade you could always try some regular toothpaste. The handle is Almite,so you may just have to deal w/the 'character'.

MaNcEr: on the first 2 planes, they had no idea what was happening. They just figured they would be held for awhile. OT...Scandinavians,Anyone See The Kingdom?

Here's a question to our Scandinavian forumites:have any of you seen the TV mini-series The Kingdom? It's about a haunted hospital. I had it on VHS(prolly the only Yankee here who's seen it),and just saw Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital, which is his adaptation of it. The original wasn't bad. It was a...

It looks like the lock was hit by something(or hit on something). Seeing as how the Millie's liner is nested,I'd take a good look inside the handles and see if everything's ok. Is there any play in the lock? Might want to consider sending it in to get checked out.

For non-fiction,I'd recommend The Fielding Guide to the World's Most Dangerous Places,by Robert Young Pelton. Lots of really good info about the world's hot spots and why there's trouble there. For fiction,if you guys are reading Tolkien,I'd recommend the Garrett series by Glen Cook(Cold Copper Tear...
