That was a good game, entertaining to the end. I'm a fan of neither team but I'm glad the Pats lost.

Why do you say that? There are several reasons. I've not seen any other major manufacturer use SB ever. It's mostly reserved for select kitchen cutlery from Japan or from custom makers. It ONLY comes from a particular quarry in Japan and available through Hitachi. So the availability is fairly low....

Personally, I wouldn't replace the SB Caly3.5 unless it was deemed unsafe. There's very little chance of SB ever being available in a Production folder again. I've been carrying this guy since it came out, except for a few weeks while I was trying a new knife but I keep going back to the SB Caly3.5....

I'm a fan of lightweight carry knife so the GB's never been a favorite of mine. But I regularly use the M4 Manix 2 around the house. The edge holding is fantastic. Of all the steels Spyderco uses, it's #2 in my book, behind S90V (and equivalent). The Super Blue on the Caly3.5 is about the only thing...

It's regular CF with a weave layer on top. So it's CF all the way through and weaved layer is just on one side.

I'm sorry to hear this regarding one of my favorite model lines. Send it back like everyone said, Spyderco will make it right. And I'm sure they'd like to examine the failed cage. This is the first time I've read about the cage failing, discounting the fail testing results.

So far so good in my experience. The only thing I can't attest is how good they are when things go wrong. Every dealer can be good when things go right but the real test is how they deal with mistakes or other such issues. The closest I've come to an issue is where I messed up an order and put in fo...

Skyrim is a great game, dsmegst! Are you playing on the PC? While not completely immune to the bugs that plague the PS3 version, PC is the way to go.. If I wanted to give Beth more money, I'd buy it again for the PC.. But Beth can kiss my you-know-what. No more money from this guy until the PS3 ver...

I've been away from games for about 10 years. Then one of my coworkers turned me on to Skyrim and I haven't been able to stay away. I'm amazed by how much things have progressed. I have no idea what to try next though. :)

Balsa wood works great with diamond paste. I've heard leather is not that good with diamond pastes.

I have scratches or marred finish on several of my mules including the S90v version from kydex. The deeper scratches are probably from sand that got embedded in the kydex but the marks are generally inevitable. I'm not surprised to see wear marks on FRN from kydex, seeing as how kydex leaves marks o...

One alternative would be a rounded edge of balsa wood, combined with your favorite polishing compound. I glue the balsa wood to a firmer piece of wood for support.
