Re: The next Endela?

Okay, I'm curious and just have to ask. What would be the advantage of having the serrations in the middle of the blade? My apologies to the op if I derailed this thread. I guess there's a couple theories or reasons for it that have been proposed. The most practical reason to me is that it leaves s...

Re: The next Endela?

My ideal spyderco would be a re-release of the usn knife from years back. A great combination of features already, and were you to upgrade the steel and add g10 scales in the endela size....oh my. https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=415 I fully respect your opinion (!) and am glad ...

I haven't thought about one of those shops in decades. Childhood revisited. :)

Re: Reveal, lack of anticipation, general thoughts.

It would be nice to see the reveal program altered a little bit, one large reveal at the beginning of the the year outlining everything with quarterly updates indicating what's slated for the next 3-4 months as per the current program. Just to use an example, I'm most interested in a Shaman or Kapar...

It's a shame so few are being released, secondary prices will be very high.

Re: You can run any model you want in LC200N. Which do you choose?

Endura, G-10, Emerson wave, combo edge.

Basically this, with G10/LC200N. I'd even settle for FRN and pickup some Micarta aftermarket. :D

Re: Reveal, lack of anticipation, general thoughts.

My only other experience with MAP is an optics manufacturer. There you see a lot of people only buying from the secondary market and retailers selling "demos, display units, combo packages" etc to bring in sales. Smaller retailers also lose out (or drop the line) to those with greater onli...

Re: Spyderedged Sprint Runs? It's Time Has Come

Would love to see more SE and Combo Edges on more models. A SE Endura was my first Spyderco in the early 2000’s that got me hooked! Interesting!! Because I'm hearing that identical story over and over again. My very first Spyder in the Spring of 1995 was a full SE, GIN-1 Mariner model with Stainles...

I used mine to open a package that contained...another Spyderco.
Same. I think I'm now set on folders until Shaman sprints show up or a Native 5 comp lock materializes.

Re: Why the lil native...

I wanted something similar in size to my Dragonfly, Df is nice but too small in hand and not a fan of wire clips. Lil’ Native backlock fills the hand more and has a better clip. Prob would have got the compression lock version though if it had the right clip. I'm in this boat, don't trust the wire ...

Re: Updated shaman sprint steel poll

I'm curious, does anyone prefer the serrated S30V Shaman variation over the PE S30V? Between youtube videos and instagram I see almost no references to the SE version except collector/unboxing type channels. I really like SE (and I love partially SE) so I'm really tempted to pick one of these up as ...

Re: Endela-thread

I'm really looking forward to picking one of these up to do a 2 5" regrind in the spirit of the kahr delicas but with a little more grip size and weigh in the blade. I'm hoping the result will replace my dragonflies when I can't carry a pm2 or larger blade.

Re: Ever regretted purchasing a Spyderco model or no?

Maybe not regret... but a little disappointed in a Delica I purchased recently. It's been a while since I've purchased a Delica and this one came with some issues I don't recall having before, the first wasn't hard to fix: it just had some very sharp edges on the spine, the jimping, the thumbhole, a...

Re: A question for Mr Glesser and Spyderco (Clipped Manbug)

I've been lurking for a while but reading this thread I just want to add a +1 of support for buying a couple clip add-ons if they materialize. I'd particularly like one for a dragonfly lanyard hole, the DF is a great size for discreet office edc but the low mounted clip on such a short handle just d...
