Seems to me that should end all questions of wether or not it will be taken care of.

While the chinook would work, it wasn't made for that type of use. It was intended as a MBC style knife. Go with the wegner, it will serve you well

will there be 2 versions or only a pricepoint version?

they redid the liner lock on the new g10 handled ones so that it has an offset arc ramp for a better lock up. I had one and liked it, just not the way that I had to relly push on the liner lock to close it. I think that they improved that too.

Never had or held a calypso, have and carry a JD Smith. That should say it all.

for light use probably something like AUS-8, 440C. some companies use some of the 420 series, because of ease to sharpen. Forharder use you sould want to start to get into ATS-34, and of course the one that tops my list: BG-42 These top steels will hold an edge longer,but are harder to sharpen when ...

let me see if I can explain it better now... where the blade looks like a spearpoint, with a false upper edge, the is a line that runs from where the blade is full width. this line runs to the sharpned part and stops where it is sharpned on that side, but on the other side it runs all way to the edg...

I just picked up a LWT serrated, and had a question about the blade. on the sharpned side all is fine, but on the other side it seems that there is a line where the steel runs all the way out to the blade. I am wondering if the PE is different, but the local shop has none. Sorry if this is confusing...

I know that spyderco liscensed the hole for these knives, but didi they ever liscense the spyderedge serations to any company?
