Re: Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale!

I accepted the $13 shipping charge just to avoid going back in, but now it looks like complete failure at the final stage of checkout.

Re: Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale!

So very close to being able to complete the purchase. Expecting disappointment in the end, but holding a little hope.

Re: Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale!

Based on the number of people confused by when the sale starts, I'm concerned that some may be unclear on the concept of a "seconds" knife as well. No complaints about what you receive, please. We all take the same chances buying seconds without being able to handle them first.

You might be able to block it with the NoScript extension. https://noscript.net/

It’s worth a try. I used the now classic version for at least a decade before I switched to Brave browser. I see they now have a Chromium edition.

Re: post storm limb clearing / big knife thoughts

The last de-limbing I did was with the excellent Skrama 240. Prior to that I used the also excellent BK9 with aftermarket wood grips. I'll play with an Ontario this year, if we get any storms or if I need to drop another tree or two.

Re: OKC, Ontario Knife Company Sold

Go to the Ontario forum on BF for more information. 🙄 Yeah... nah. Random ramblings from keyboard jockeys at BF aren't worth my time. If all the Ontario assets are sold off, then that's also great. Real knife experts, like the keyboard jockeys who are currently wetting their pants, will be able to ...

Re: Yojimbo 2 Lightweight

While I love micarta, G10, etc., I believe for SD knives that FRN is the way to go. What keeps it from happening is the large upfront cost of the molds. I can understand that it is fiscally wiser to make SD knives, with their smaller market, using G10 or similar that do not require molds.

Re: OKC, Ontario Knife Company Sold

Awesome! The owners of Ontario Knife were able to exercise their rights to possess private property. They sold their property to raise money that they wanted for other things. The new owners purchased Ontario Knife because they think the purchase will allow them to earn a lot of money by building k...

Re: Yojimbo 2 Lightweight

A LW Salt version seems like it would be the best choice for this model, especially for those who carry IWB.
