Gonna get my Caly 3 ZDP out right now and give it some affection. Hope it's not feeling lost for luv. My Para 2 and Delica have been getting more attention lately. It's a marvel, it's a masterpiece, it's a thing of beauty....my Caly3 ZDP. The positive lock-up, the shimmering steel, the razors edge.....

I drive old "not so crappy" cars so I can buy nice NEW knives. Mostly Spydies with others thrown in. Perhaps we should consider the online stores Spydadone clinics, where we go for a legal dose? :spyder: :spyder: :D

A lot of good recommendations here. If you definitely want the 9mm, third generation Glock 19 is an excellent choice. Simple, easy to clean, accurate, DEPENDABLE, many options available, good holsters, and quality ammo readily available at a good price. Though very nice handguns, the CZ and Beretta ...

Don't know about Spydies in the movies, but I sure see a lot of brown trucks with gold lettering rolling by. Unless there was a closeup of the knife I doubt it would be recognized unless perhaps it was a Civilian, Tasman, or Spyderhawk. These are somewhat unique (and GREAT) designs.

If you are considering the Stretch, there is a dealer on line that still has the CF w/ZDP C90CFPE in stock but you will pay a premium for this. It does add some heft to the knife but the ZDP while taking and holding an edge well, is more brittle. I have the Manix and Para 2. I think the Manix is per...

Looking forward to the blue M390....... have this on pre-order. The Para 2 is one of my favorite platforms. Yes, I would also do an M4. The twill woven carbon fiber would be nice. Love that compression lock.

On the Para 2 I simply face the knife down, use my index finger to press/pinch the compression lock an it virually closes itself (gravity). I'm having a hard time trying to figure our how you get your fingers in the way  This is my favorite lock design. It's supposed to be on the YO2. Wish...

I would be asking for and expecting a new knife. Never loan my cast nets, chain saw, or better fishing tackle to anyone. That's some pretty nasty damage to the knife, makes me wonder if it wasn't done intentionally. What a waste.
