Don't know about Spydies in the movies, but I sure see a lot of brown trucks with gold lettering rolling by. :rolleyes: Unless there was a closeup of the knife I doubt it would be recognized unless perhaps it was a Civilian, Tasman, or Spyderhawk. These are somewhat unique (and GREAT) designs.

On the Para 2 I simply face the knife down, use my index finger to press/pinch the compression lock an it virually closes itself (gravity). I would be asking for and expecting a new knife. Never loan my cast nets, chain saw, or better fishing tackle to anyone. That's some pretty nasty damage to the knife, makes me wonder if it wasn't done intentionally. What a waste.
