I have all three. All three are AWESOME knives and you can't go wrong with any choice.
The Native 5 is strong. The Paramilitary is fun. The Sage 1 is gorgeous, smooth and won't damage your jeans.
I'd have to say the Sage 1 is my favorite. It seems the most "Special".

It's just how they have been. They did make a Caly Jr ZDP-189 a while back that was black as a dealer exclusive (Moteng). You could always dye one black. My guess is the BRG pays homage to Sal's love for Lotus. ZDP-189 is another specialty exotic material so I guess it fits. Really? .... Good to kn...

There was a massive poll done by the Spyderco community on the forums and Taiwan came out on top, Golden second and Japanese third. I have to agree, fit and finish on the Taiwanese knives have always came from the factory perfect. You can see the thread here... http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthr...

Was there any Kitchen knives at SHOT 2013?
I am wondering, was there any kitchen knives showcased at SHOT 2013? I want to buy a set, I am stuck on the Cold Steel set right now, but rather have Spyderco. Should I wait? If Spyderco isn't going to make kitchen knives any time soon are there any other brands you guys can suggest in the $200 rang...

It really depends... quite frankly Golden does a really good job on the PM2. Mine have been perfect thus far... but some of their recent knives with black G10 have this weird checkered pattern on them under certain lighting conditions that bothers me. (So far apparent on my Native 5, Manix 2 Black a...

I kind of had some services issues a couple of times (with Canadian dealers) as I result I tried Blade HQ. Very impressed came quick no hassles, lots of stock, great price and good service. I will order from them again. What are their shipping prices like? I kind of hate how you have to email or ca...

You know whats funny? I've had a PM2 for a long time, and I keep on hearing that they are hard to find. It's funny because now that they aren't available, I kind of want another one even more. Weird.... But yeah, I want a special PM2 as well... I find it extremely hard to find sprints in Canada... a...
