Sometimes a wake-up call is a good thing... Better now than with something very serious. Hopefully the antibiotics and some rest put this behind you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and for the will-power to stop, or at least cut down on smoking.

I'm not too concerned with the light dimming from getting too hot. I don't run it for more than a few seconds at a time... normally. I will watch for dimming when I do have to keep it on for a bit. Thanks for the heads-up. Flashlights could easily become another source of distraction for me. I must ...

Surefire Drop-In LED conversion

I don't know how many of you will get anything out of this, but I just tried this out and it's a great improvement on this flashlight. I have (among others) a Surefire G2 Nitrolon flashlight - http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/prrfnbr/878/sesent/00 - 60 lumens, CR123 Lithium batterie...

Is this going to see some use or is it going to be a show piece?

A Para-Gift

I have received an almost-new Paramilitary from an unnamed Dutch forum member. (A giant of a man, with hands like bear paws, a fascination with serrations and a heart of gold. ;) ) After a few emails, I ended up receiving this in the mail! http://www.groatnet.com/deeker/albums/userpics/10001/Para-3....

I'm with Peter. I used to race mountain bikes when I was in my early 20's. I could afford the parts (and injuries) then. Now I just ride for fun and exercise in the good weather months. No training rides, no indoor trainers, fewer injuries, lot fewer broken bikes and parts, eat what I want.. . :D I'...

Just last night I had the opportunity to fire a bunch of rounds through the Beretta U22 Neos (with scope) and both the 4" and 5.5" Ruger 22/45 bull barrel .22 pistols (as well as an 9mm HK USP). What fun! I could imagine leaving a large pile of spent casings in an afternoon with the .22s. ...

I've got a Fenix P2D for everyday use. I love the adjustable output, even if it is not overly simple. I have a Surefire G2 in my truck. I've got the Cree LED drop-in coming for it. I'm quite excited to see how that will work out. I carry an Inova X0 in my Search and Rescue pack, along with my EDC Fe...

... But our company is loving the high CDN dollar. We manufacture in the US and sell in Canada. Just another point to show that what might be bad for some is boon for others. (Still sucks when it's bad, however.)

Hmm, D'Allara DP is done, too?

I think it would be best if I had one to call my own... :o
To go along with the D'Allara Rescue, of course.

My paypal account is going to take a beating (from spending) if the dollar stays like this. I don't know the entire economic implications of a high CDN dollar vs USD, but buying is a lot more fun now!

What would be your favourite to sing, and / or will it change now that your voice type or style has been correctly identified?
