Love seeing data like this show up here. These numbers seem about right for how they feel. Although they’re fairly close.
I wonder how much a wider bar would improve knives like the endura and chap.

Re: Lc200N PM2 and Para 3
It's certainly been covered. But not enough. I'd snatch up an lc200n para 3 in g10 or frn in an instant. As for pm2, I think the caribbean sorta covers that size range, but I suppose if the para 3 got a salt (at least the g10 model) then the pm2 would likely follow. Also for a laminate blade there's...

I think Sal has said they’ve looked into it a few times. Not sure if it went anywhere.

What other cutting tools would you like to see spyderco make?
Title says it all! I for one would love to see some simple Japanese style thread snips or kitchen shears. They’re both super useful tools, and I think giving them the spyderco treatment would make a few simple tools even better. Think of it, thread snips with removable hap40 blades, a copper body, a...

Re: On knife design and the virtue of usability
What a spectacular post. My career in “oh man I have to actually read today?” forum posts may be over :D I agree wholeheartedly with pretty much everything here. Although, I’d like to know your feelings on a few things: For many (or maybe just me) steel attributes are extremely important. At work I ...

Re: Ok, where's the pink Delica?
With the sage coming around recently I wouldn’t be surprised if it showed up in the next month or so. Especially since it’s a variation of a standard model.
Hopefully the smallfly and the maple chap will follow behind it.

Re: Sage 1 Cool Grey Maxamet
eh. Not really my thing. Although I like the model itself, I’m sorta hoping more of the sage series is in line for material upgrades. I’d snatch up an s90v sage 2 in an instant, in some funky anodization I assume.

Re: I need some pen suggestions
I also have a nice Tactile Turn bolt action pen, and I highly recommend the stainless steel version. It's without a doubt the smoothest pen mechanism I've ever touched. I was less pleased with their titanium version (the stainless steel pen is _heavy_ and I wanted something lighter), but it was sti...

Re: SRS-15 / SRS-13 ?
Any updates on this one? I’ve been having really good experiences with maintaining my R2 kitchen knives recently and would love to try it in a pocket knife.
Edit: plus I don’t have any cladded spydercos in my collection so this would be a good start.

Re: GB Air Return?
Wire clip (or at least the option for it, perhaps one that attaches to the liners themselves on the back of the handle?) and either micarta or stabilized wood would make this an instant buy for me. Love the concept, I’ve come close to nabbing one on the secondary market many times.

I need some pen suggestions
I’ve been using parker jotters (mostly the standard black body blue ink roller ball ones) for close to 10 years now. And while I love its size and authoritative click, the clip leaves a lot to be desired. It breaks often and my girlfriend likes to joke she’ll only sit to the right of me to avoid bei...

Re: Just for fun. What configuration?
Well... g10 Native Salt... actually everything salt would be nice, lc200n everything. :D But as an actual answer, I’d love to see the sage 2 return in a fancy shmancy stainless. The new sage 1 went high end so I suppose s90v is the way to go. Other than that I just want to see more stainless and too...

silly video game weapons
I figured this is tangentially related to knives :D So here’s a thread dedicated to pictures of really dumb video game weapons. I’ll start with this thing from Bloodborne: https://i.ibb.co/kKXWDsw/A3-F82-D70-407-D-4-AB9-BCD6-F6-D3-AFCFB5-E9.webp Yes that is a sword, that transforms into a hammer, by...
