Not saying you should......
But I took a permanent marker and colored the scales black...laid it on thick then rubbed most it off with an alcohol swab...this resulted in a nice silver gray with a ton of depth to the vusual texture....looks really cool and I am quite happy....need to see how it lasts..

Appreciate everyones comments....I had been thinking about replacement scales but in truth my GB Air has found a place in my front pocket and I am going to give it time to see how it does before doing anything except using it....would be nice to hear a definitive answer on the scale material...sure ...

The vast majority of antibiotics used in this country go into animal feed, agribusiness is fighting hard against any limits on that...this along with many physicians caving in to patient demand for antibiotics for things like the common cold has resulted in LOTs of antibiotic ...
