Re: Trainers

I like trainers to get feel of them in my hands. It is way safer to avoid cutting my self.

Trainers

I like trainers almost as much a live blades. Got an Endura and Clinch pick trainer from NOK Hard Contact trainers. These are very nice.

Dream wish knife

I wish Spyderco would make a Grand Dad Barlow knife with Mar style mid lock. A working tactical knife.

I like the neutral round handles of barlows.

Mar Family coming back with knives designed by Mr. Mar

I am looking forward to seeing what the Mar Family has to present. Some new Al Mar knife designs not seen by the public.

Re: Neck Knives

When I use to wear ID for work I preferred alligator clips. I used the same idea for some of my knives.

Sam Owens ARK

Is it coming out in the 4th part of the year? I am leaning toward knives with guards or large choils to keep fingers from moving from the grip.

From some details about MBC knives on Mr. Janich's site. His preference in feel.

"Janich also removed the "jimping" (texturing) on his knife's thumb ramp to work better with his preferred Filipino grip"

SIFU Rolling Lock

I have a R.E.K.T Sifu Rolling Lock and brought it out storage. Not sure if it is safe to use or are those stories of failures are true.

Is there a way to determine the strength of that knife? Without breaking it? It is sure a big folder.

I've worked jobs dealing with the public before, you need thick skin or be really centered or both. I called customer service twice a week checking up on my knife, they did not get cranky with me. Pretty good.
