I do not like clicking on links to other sites when I have no idea where I will be taken, or what is on the other end of the link. Please embed your photos here...so we may better enjoy your passions with you. Thanks Seriously? Not to be argumentative, but how do you get anywhere on the internet? A...

You're upset that a folder with: -A 3.5" S30V blade, fully flat ground, no less -G-10 -Nested steel liners -Four way clip mounting option -Unique and strong Compression Lock -Pivot bushing and bronze washers And on top of it all, is made in the USA... Costs a little over a hundred bucks online?...

~70 bucks nets me a new Manix 2. That'd be the route I'd go.

I don't think that locks that have parts that bear laterally on the blade tang, such as the compression lock or liner lock, are ever likely to be "smoothest" as a class. Exactly. There isn't anything specific to the compression lock, or even a liner lock or a frame lock that can lend spec...

Are compression lock spydies the smoothest opening? In my personal experience, "no". However, at least one of the smoothest Spydercos I have also has a compression lock, so also "yes". That would be the Para 2, but it utilizes the newer pivot bushing system, and I think the smoo...

Greatest unintentionally funny post ever.

Sure, you hardly hear anything about one of the single most iconic and popular folding knives ever.

That's a Chinook I, not II.

Pretty sure that one uses the same clip as the Millie.

Chinook II/III style clip: (II has a hollow ground blade, III is full flat grind.)

I had been chasing down another regular Para 2 for some time, and as dumb luck would have it, was able to find a S90V/CF Sprint actually in-stock on a well-known reputable dealer's site this morning. Immediately snapped it up, of course, as the dealer price looks downright cheap compared to the seco...

The pattern looks cool, but I was hoping it would have some texture to it.

Not sure if "very smooth...glass-like" is an enviable trait for a knife handle. but in casual use it's probably fine.

Regardless, nice pattern!

I really tried to find one of the CF Para2s, no, I wasted too much time trying to find a CF Para2. Unfortunately I can't check in on this site every four hours(eight days a week) or call 85 dealers to get into one of these knives. I'm finished with sprint runs, you gents can have 'em. I'd rather sp...

I've been pretty fortunate with pre-orders and finding sought after models in the past. Generally speaking, I've always been able to get a hold of whatever model I wanted, one way or another. But this one...it's just been amazingly difficult. Not one but BOTH dealers I put in pre-orders with bumped ...

Cripes almighty, just send it back if you're not happy about it. Enough with the endless point/counterpoint nonsense. We get it. Oh right, yeah. But it's still all the same limited production run. They're not likely not going to be differentiated in the secondary market as "first batch", "second batch", etc.

My feeling is that the first one that went for 260 is going to end up being a steal, as well as any others in this first batch that go for anything close to that. I think the price is going to go way up. First batch? There's only one batch total of these. But I agree. I expect to see them for ~$400...
