I would be surprised if Spyderco actually has a QC requirement for where the plunge line hits the spine.

They most definitely have a specification for the plunge grind angle, and have made CQI changes to the angle on other models before.

Correct. Other people above were talking about the Chief LW prototype, so I provided the pic.

Here's the lightweight prototype, as shown at Blade 2021. The production version will not be M4.

While checking the tracking on my Black PVD PM2 Tanto I noticed the shipment originated from Virginia. Seems odd since BladeHQ is located in Utah.

BHQ has two warehouses, one in Utah and one in Virginia.

The liners are *not* blacked out. They look exactly like the first run.

My 12yo has been saving up for a blackout tanto PM2 since the original drop. It showed up in the mail today.

That's not what I see on the bladehq website. It seems the natural tanto don't have liners. Just look at the picture on their website.

I have two in my collection, and I assure you they have liners.
