I would be surprised if Spyderco actually has a QC requirement for where the plunge line hits the spine.
They most definitely have a specification for the plunge grind angle, and have made CQI changes to the angle on other models before.

7.84 oz.
Can anyone confirm ? 220g is heavy.
They're really that heavy. It's basically two PM2s worth of weight.

Nice pic! Definitely interested in that.

Off topic: Is that the longer Enuff in the background? Can’t wait to see that in a reveal.
The pic is not my own. It's a frame taken from Knifecenter's video.

I am fairly certain that is the Native Chief LW (4.08” blade). Different scales not a new design.
Correct. Other people above were talking about the Chief LW prototype, so I provided the pic.

Here's the lightweight prototype, as shown at Blade 2021. The production version will not be M4.

I'm burnt orange complete, plus an extra PM2 and three extra Chiefs. My perfect EDC "dog walking" flashlight would have all of the following features: The Lumintop FW3A meets all of your requirements. It has one-button programming, so you can set it to whatever operational configuration you want, including simple on/off with a single brightness setting. I ...

Yup, definitely the C68 Gunting. First production live blades and red trainers are dated October 2000.

Re: Michael Janich Knuckslap less than lethal tool

I have one of the aluminum prototypes. They're pretty good as knucks. The palm striking portion does a good job at distributing force across your palm with closed hand strikes. Open hand stuff can get a bit sketchy. You have to be conscious about how much centrifugal force you're imparting, because ...

They still ship things from both locations, and they still film their (excruciatingly bad) Youtube channel in Utah. They only relocated the B&M.

While checking the tracking on my Black PVD PM2 Tanto I noticed the shipment originated from Virginia. Seems odd since BladeHQ is located in Utah. :thinking
BHQ has two warehouses, one in Utah and one in Virginia.

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

Thank you. Trying to collect all of the Native Chiefs, they're great. It is what I EDC every day and in no way do I lack for options, it's that good. If Spyderco made a 5 inch Native Chief, I'd carry that instead. I haven't carried anything but a Rex Chief since they dropped, and I've stayed comple...

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

I just purchased a native G-10 Native Chief from a fellow Spydie Fan. I'm on a budget and would not have money for the two of these for months. That's not Blade HQ's fault, it's mine. 1st World Problems, hahahahaha!!! Well, you got the better knife then. The Chief runs circles around anything else ...

That's not what I see on the bladehq website. It seems the natural tanto don't have liners. Just look at the picture on their website.

BladeHQ exclusive PM2's with copper scales are liner-less, I think these are the only ones.
Yeah, other than the copper.
