i was reading a thread on bladeforums about a rusty para2. so i took mine out to check it out. and low and behold the stop pin (and only the stop pin) had rusted. :eek: any ideas on how to remedy this? maybe this is a sign to finally try an H1 model :D http://i747.photobucket.com/albums/xx111/gundud...

it would be cool if the left over material used when cutting the spyderhole could be made into a bead. maybe laser etch the :spyder: on it?

i wouldnt mind seeing various spyderco models in ELMAX. perhaps the military, paramilitary 2, and a mule.

i doubt spyderco would offer them. but as TedP said STR makes a great clip. he did my paramilitary clip and its been awesome.

well, i havent had the need to have to break out my spyderco at the table to cut anything (yet) but it will be in the pocket if the day comes. :cool:

as others have said, the difference is negligible. its also what Chris Reeve told me at the plaza cutlery custom knife show when i asked about his opinion on steels.

i would get the military. it may seem big but once you get used to it, it feels "just right"

i got a paramilitary 2! this thing is really awesome.
