Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Murray Carter Super Blue knives are on clearance at Cutlery and More. Just picked up the Bunka for $199. https://www.cutleryandmore.com/ Thanks, Dazen. I also managed to snag an Itamae Bunka, which are now sold out. Perfect timing because i was just debating a purchase of one of these with myself t...

TripleB 15v! He's been quiet lately and I assume it's because he's hand sharpening all of them on his super vitrified diamond waterstones! :beaming-face

Re: DLT CruWear Purple G10 PM2

I had been sorta trying to hold off... but when they were still in stock when i got home from work, i caved. I'm glad Golden is pumping out some Cruwear! Since managing to snag a Crucarta Shaman in October of 2019 it wasn't until this year that i have added more Cruwear to my pile. Cruwear and purpl...

Re: S45VN Shaman

Having the s30v model, I wouldn't buy an s45vn variant. I would love to try an uncoated 4v or V4E Shaman. I still love my Crucarta and s30 Shaman but I've cooled on the Shaman as my appreciation for the Manix 2 has grown. They are different enough for me to appreciate them all, but the Manii go to w...

Re: Best 5th pocket EDC

I like a clipless lil native baclock or Chaparral. The Jester and Ladybug with two beads is great.

Some of my favorite work pants have a fifth pocket that easily swallows a Native Chief and bigger. :cheap-sunglasses

Re: Lil’Native slippie, at last

i never thought i'd want this knife (nothing against this knife or the urban/ukpk, but i prefer larger knives and locking knives), but i'm traveling to germany for a week and had to leave all my spydercos behind. :\ now, with trips planned throughout new england (including nyc and boston) later thi...

I didn't see the Native listing myself on ebay but did find a Salt-1 that seems to have been sharpened but the same person. Maybe this is a new trend.

Re: Been quiet in Sage town...

I don't think we'll see a power lock made anywhere but at the G Sakai / "Seki City" works. A CBBL Sage would be cool, but would we more likely see that or a Micro Manix? A Sage with a CBBL would essentially be a Micro Manix. They have extremely similar ergos and blade shape. Precisely my ...

Re: A perspective on a fad in the knife world.

Have you ever looked at you dad's or grandad's knives? Thick needlessly overbuilt knives are the fad. What you're seeing is backlash. Grandpa had a really horrible rusted out pen knife in his tackle box, I used it for 10 or so years until it fell apart on me in the salt water (I kept it oiled and i...

Re: Damasteel Ivory G10 Urban

Got mine, and it’s another excellent Urban example! The scales weren’t as refined as I would have liked, so a little wet sanding with 2000 grit did the trick. Also found out it’s a lot harder to take pictures of Damasteel that I thought. [img]https://i.postimg.cc/rwJxjtRF/336445-EF-294-D-403-F-BA2-...

Re: "Smooth" vs "Fine" G10 on Golden models

The fine G10 of the Manix 2 BL is great. It is a little chalky feeling if your hands are dry. I do really like the smooth texture of the Cruwear N5 too. Both are great. I threw in the new Damasteel Urban with it to show how similar the Maniago and Golden smooth G10 are. The smooth contoured G10 of t...
