Re: East Coast seconds sal>?

Would love to have it "local". If this weather agrees and within a day trip distance I would make it. RE: online auction; I think Sal was thinking of us east cast Spydermaniacs who can't make the trek. Online everyone and their brother could have access and i assume there is a finite amoun...

Re: MT21P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with CPM 4V

Got my order in but... it took a while for each page to load. Day to day the traffic is probably no problem for the server but since these releases are in such demand it was chugging slowly along.

Re: Blade show 2015 news thread

Also a little off topic I saw a youtube video of a makers first folder at Blade Show (SK23) by Kevin Smock. He licensed Spydercos compression lock and made a wharncliffe flipper with a push button release of the compression lock. Thought it was cool not just the Spydie hole was getting licensed.

Re: Southard assembly question

My thought also that the washers were too soft and were worn down by the bearings. I was careful to keep the parts from each side of the knife separate to put it back together correctly, now it is opening slightly better. Will contact Spyderco about washers too for a fresh start . I'm going to try v...

Re: Southard assembly question

I am having the opposite problem; my southard does not completely flip open. I have wrist flick or manually open to finish opening the blade. After hearing some say how well it flips I wondered if there was some friction occurring preventing it from flipping open. So I decided maybe it needs a clean...

Re: Post dealer deals here.

Here they have a couple Spydies on sale the PITS and the K2 each for $219.95. Also interesting are two Japanese folders on sale, one with white steel and one with blue steel.

Re: Poll for included information

+1 Targeted hardness. Since we still get the edge-u-cation hardness would be nice to know.
Most people who care about thickness behind the edge, I would guess, are way nuttier than the average Joe and are likely already to have the tools to measure, then will reprofile anyway. ;)

Re: A.T.R. Titanium

Great find; Great knife! Sadly, it was wasn't my taste before and when I started buying Spydercos it was mostly gone. It has grown on me i guess for the simplistic functional look and the compression lock. I would sport one of those if I had one. HInt (sprint).

Re: If you could only keep three...

I assume these are from current owned spydies so...:

1. PM2 CTS- 204P
2. Manix 2 M-4
3. Sage 1 -because I almost always carry this
but I'm glad I don't have to keep it to three.

Re: Storage ideas for Spyderco's?

Bought this at harbor freight for about $60 with coupon. Ia year or so ago. con: The lock could easily be broken Pros: the drawers are easy to organize and are felt lined. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/44680364/2014-05-14%2009.51.46.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/44680364/2014-05-14%2...

Re: Southard or Domino?

I have a Southard, Manix 2, and a Sage 1 but not a Domino so this is one sided but these are the reasons I bought it.The Southard is very close to being a custom knife as it is with most of Spyderco's collaborations with knife makers. I liked the length and blade to handle ratio. The blade and handl...
