This may be a really dumb question, but what kind of steels are 420 Modified and 425 Modified and what is their use? I saw them on the steel chart guide and I just was wondering. As always, thanks all.

In the CS Zome thread Warstein recommends a freight forwarder that he has had good luck with forwarding to Europe. They may be able to help you out as well.

Just to follow up on what Doc Dan mentioned....Orange isn't a preferred color for me but there are a couple of places that you can still pick up a purple Dfly. They are around MSRP though. I don't know if it counts but my sister carries an Orange frame handgun. She would probably like one to match her .380.

I would be willing to pay full MSRP if this combo was released in a Military. I would feel like I was being over charged but ultimately I have other solid functional knives and this is a luxury item that's an individual monetary choice. It's why we have at least a semblance of a free market.

I likely won't order one but it's a really nice looking knife. Kudos to BBS for keeping these runs going. I don't particularly agree with their business model but at least they are helping keep some variety out there.

No problems here. The recent Urban aside, I believe the best edges come out of Maniago though.

I recently bought a couple of knives from Country Knives. I have spoken with them and they are great people. My question is do retailers have their own CC membership? Both were European issue only and showed up with CC numbers. Just kind of wondering. Thanks folks.
