My CF harpy is starting to show little cracks in the finish around the scews, pivot, and lanyard hole. None of my other carbon fiber scaled knives have the same kind of glossy finish that Spyderco has put on this knife. Is there any way to remove the finish and make it a more natural matte finish? Nice Firetac, KnifeCollector!

I think Mr. Hinderer makes beautiful knives. My last custom I picked up was this beautiful GenII Flame, S30V with flipper. Still miss the firetac, though.

I too love the G10 Harpy, and cannot wait to add a CF PE to the collective. Wonder how many G10's were made, and in what steel. Mine is ATS-55.
