The only gripe I've ever had with Spyderco's Taiwanese knives (including this mule) is that the edges are not rounded off most of the time. I've actually cut my self on the Spyderhole of my Gayle Bradley while closing it before. The Southard is nice and rounded off, why can't all the other knives be...

I know this most likely wouldn't happen, but I'd love to see a ZDP-189 para or military. I know the Japanese manufacturer doesn't trust other companies with their steel, but maybe they could grind and heat treat the blades and then send them to Golden for assembly? Just an idea

I know, I can't wait for these. I thought it was noon, but remembered some issue with the time zone they said so just wanted to be sure. Thanks

Watching this disgrace and it honestly feels like Denver gave up somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

not a problem exactly, but mine is also not to the level of glass-like smoothness of my regular manix 2. In order to have no side to side blade play, it is fairly tight, where as my regular manix swings freely and has no blade play. I'm no steel expert, but S90V has a reputation for being extremely ...

I want the Broncos to win, I really do, but I think when the #1 offense meets the #1 defense, its gonna come down to the Seahawks offense and the Broncos defense, which I believe the Seahawks have the advantage. Also, the weather such as cold temps, wind, and precipitation will favor the Seahawks.

I have two Dominos, one a numbered collector's edition and one normal one. It is such a good knife I had to have two. I did at one point have two Enduras, but the second one I received was the super blue sprint, and I feel in love with that so I sold the VG10 one.

It's pointless to look for a logical reason, as there is no logical reason why they (meaning the government) restrict any kind of knives. They don't use logic, they use scare tactics and emotional appeal to make it seem like "knives are bad", and for the majority of the public, it works.

I'd love to see what a steel like K390 could do in a platform such as the Nilakka, if the edge was to fragile for S30V it should be perfect for K390

I love the Southard, but I had to sell mine for one reason and one reason only: the awful grind. Too thick and IMHO can't really cut anything besides rope. Anything the whole of the blade would have to go through it would bind up. The Domino flips better, much better grind, and I love the choil.

I know next to nothing about this, but I wouldn't think Phil Wilson would be for that. The S90v is ok, but with K390 it would basically be his exact knife for 1/3 the cost and it might cut into his sales. Correct me if I'm wrong though

Spyderco 440C

Hello, I was just wondering if the cast 440C used in the Serrata is actually any better than regular 440C. I remember hearing somewhere that it was actually worse performing, and if so why is it so expensive?
