You're in luck! The new Murray Carter collaboration series features laminated Super Blue blades in a variety of designs.Haunted House wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 9:15 pmI’d love to see Spyderco put out some super blue kitchen/chef knives.
A Santoku, or Gyuto, Honesuki, or Usuba, Nakiri, etc. A smaller petty knife would be awesome too.

Re: My struggle with the Native
It took me a while to come around on the native. Then I really liked it. One day it just clicked. I also like the choils on the native family because I feel they lock your finger in better than the choils on other designs. For me choils are kind of hit or miss. Some designs I like them, others not....

Re: My struggle with the Native
The Native leaves me a little uninspired too. I agree, it's a fine design and a great working knife, but it's not special to me the way some other designs are. I own the Maxamet Native and like it - it's in my pocket right now as a matter of fact - but I carry it primarily for the steel.

Re: The HARPY: A Great Hawkbill Model That Deserves Respect
I think I've said it somewhere else before, but when I was looking for an introductory hawkbill I did consider the Harpy. I ended up going with the byrd instead because of the cheaper cost (no regrets either), but if I were to buy another hawkbill I'd probably go for the Harpy. I like the looks of i...

Re: Can't find a plain leaf Caribbean anywhere !
I got my PE leaf blade Caribbean from New Graham too. They’ve been my favoured place to buy Spydies for a while now. Excellent service and fast shipping. I think I’ll eventually get a SE Caribbean too - probably a sheepsfoot and grind the nose down like Evil D’s one. The PE version is great though....

Exactly what Jazz said. I like watching videos of knives doing what they're intended to do. Keep them coming! :)

I voted CPM REX 45.
The steels are very similar, but the Golden heat treat is superlative.

Have you ever tried Super Blue? Like Cru-Wear it sharpens like a dream (even more so than Cru-Wear in fact) and gets frighteningly sharp.

Re: Spyderco 2020 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Hello Tanto, can't wait to buy one. You know the flash batches thing is kind of strange, Eric says they destroy the tooling etc... I say it is strange because one of the things Sal cites often is taking chances on models because of how expensive tooling is. Whirrrrr, Click... does not compute.........

Re: Paramilitary 2 - CTS-204p Question
On most holes, there is something of note. When they use a laser or a plasma cutter to cut the blade out (of a large sheet of steel) and to cut the hole out, there has to be a starting point. Usually the whole outside of the blade is finished, so you won't notice the starting point of the outside o...

I don't know. Hard to tell from the photos.
At least you have two of them, so if you decide to have Spyderco take a look you'll still have one to carry and use. :)

Welcome to our forum.
H1 steel is not available Japan. I'll watch interest in a Finch with a clip. We're working with a couple of makers to see if hey can manage a Compression Lock.
Hi Conner,
Yes, imported steels.
Hi Born,
We're working on it. we'll see.
