Way to go Samo - I've been watching for one of those first mirror finished Moran's for a long time myself...I'd love to get one! That knife (and sheath) is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!

Regarding my SERE 2000...

I am having a lot of trouble finding a "Bonded Courier" as when I called FEDEX, Purolator and UPS I have so far gotten the "Runaround". I will keep trying though.

Nicky, I am very sorry to hear of your lost knife...I am in the process of losing an Al Mar SERE 2000 to them at the moment myself. That is, unless I can find a way to ship it back to the sender. In any case, thanks for your insight...hopefully it will provide some future help for us Canucks importi...

That's a great story!

The Viele is the smoothest opening Spydie I've ever had the extreme pleasure to handle and own.

serrator, I am just going through the same thing myself with Customs in Toronto. I have been given the option to return the "prohibited goods" to the U.S by "Bonded Carrier" at my expense, along with the other choice - to "abandon to the crown". My knife is an Al Mar SE...

brix,

Very nice work! I sure would like to get one like that for mine. I think the factory leather sheath is very attractive looking, but I find it's hard to draw the knife from, and I would much prefer an IWB design.

Thanks for the pictures, Jeff/1911.
